Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyUnfortunately the floor in the room was dirty. The bathroom, exception made for the toilet, was all dirty: sink and shower were terrible and encrusted and shower was leaking all time long
The staff is very nice, helpful and gentle, very nice people. They provided help and informations about anything we asked about.The location is very good and safe, lots of good restaurants all around and a beautiful walk by the sea.

PolandThe lift was broken when I was there - ask the staff to take your bags up. Consider that the distance to the colonial old city is around 5 kms. No public transport except taxis - the ride will cost you 250-300 pesos.
This cozy hotel is located in East Santo Domingo, right near the coastal boulevard. It is only 200 m distance to the National Aquarium and half an hour walk to the Tres Ojos National Nature Park. Ole big supermarket is 15 min walk west from the hotel. Well equipped rooms have lovely balconies. Internet connection is reliable. They offer tasty breakfast of your choice. But the real jewel of this property is Miss Betty from the reception - she speaks fluent English and is very helpful. Recommended!

SlovakiaHorrible neigbourhood - abusive neighbours playing super loud music and singing till 5 am - incompetent staff was useless although i asked them 3 times to help! Their wifi password is 30 characters long and not even the staff can remember it. No hot water, sufficient water pressure or sufficient cleanliness - mouldy curtains, nasty bathroom etc. Worse stay ever...
