Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaWe like to walk but it is impossible to walk on the main road. You can take a taxi or local transportation to Sasoua or Cabarete for groceries, local transport is very inexpensive.
Quiet area. Not much around but had a nice bakery/cafe just down the road. Very well kept grounds and a great pool. Room was clean. 15 min. walk to the surfing beach and from there it was possible to walk to Cabarete Beach on a small Rd along the ocean till you got close to Kite beach, then walk on the beach ( 5 km walk) We had a terrible bed and the management changed us to a new room with a better bed.

IsraelWe were told that our apartment was owned by a different owner than the rest of the apartment so that they have no control over it, but still, the place was full of cockroaches, the air-conditioning was driping all over the floor and TV in the bedroom didn't work,
The location is great, the place looks really good, and the staff is really nice.

United StatesThe room did not have hot water. We asked the manager to fix the issue and they told us they couldn’t because they didn’t have any parts available. We asked for another room and we’re told there was none. We then asked for a small discount and we’re told they could not do that either because we paid with a credit card. The manager said if we paid with cash they could have given us a discount. Very very disappointed with manager’s refusal to help us. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel and found out after dinner that they did not accept credit cards. We did not have enough cash on hand to pay the bill so had to go to the bank the next day to get cash and return to pay bill. There was also no breakfast menu so we had to leave hotel to find breakfast which we couldn’t find anything. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend this place.
