The staff was awesome. So friendly and helpful. They called me by name. All the food at the restaurant was delicious. Not many restaurants around but doesn't matter, you have everything you need here. I loved all the little touches.

The concrete bottom of the pool was cratchy, so our kids hurt themselves diving.

There is nothing to not like! It is the place I always go to when I surf at Playa Encuentro.

Excellent, big breakfast, lovely staff, specialzed treatment, beautiful pool and surrounding pool furniture, well maintained grounds and buildings, small and personal as opposed to huge and full of strangers.

Quiet place compare to cabaret itself. Few meters from the beach. Staff is really nice and the restaurant pretty good. Warmly recommended.

We made these reservations last minute due to a flight change. We were so pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and the pleasantness of the environment. It really is an oasis and a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. I hope to return one day!

This place was great! The staff, the amenities, the location, the food ect. We stayed in one of the beach bungalow (casitas) which was a 15 min walk from the main property. The casita was super nice with great wifi (video calls ect) and right by the beach. It was quiet and super nice to have "room service" delivery for items from the restaurant. The staff also gave us a ride to the airport and were overly accommodating. I cant say any bad things about this place, I hope to be back again

Some of the best hotel i've been at. The staff is just amazing, especially Noel and Brandon, super amicable and helpful. Also, the restaurant is very high quality, the sport center is top, and the rooms are amazing. Top hotel in the region for sure, and even more if you go to Cabarete to do surf or kitesurf. Cannot recommend enough!

The ambiance is great, staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and until 11:30 is a luxury for us. We really enjoyed our stay there. Very calm and close to the beach.

I don't usually leave reviews but the staff and service here were just so wonderful. We were traveling with our one-year-old baby and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to us. By the end of our stay every staff member knew our baby's name and would share big smiles and games with him - it was so nice. Even the cleaning and maintenance staff went out of there way to be friendly. Thank you in particular to Noel, Juan Carlos, Angelo, Angie, Marley, and Brandon at Parallel Surf - GEMS! We stayed in a beach bungalow and I would recommend it if you want to be closer to the beach and have a little more privacy.

The location is great! It is only 300m to the beach where we surfed and only 15 minutes walk to "Encuentro Food Park" where there are options for food and a bar. To go to the Cabarate town center takes around 15-20m by taking a "guagua" from the main road, which cost 50RD$. The staff is truly exceptional! Everyone is so friendly and super attentive!
