Maybe it was bit far away from town.

Room and pool facilities are very nice. Staff were cery good especially Martin who should be a role model for how to treat a guest!

Charged an additional booking.com fee. Hotel is not setup well for breakfast. Also charged double for breakfast as compared to the booking.com quoted price.

Friendliness of staff. Martin was great. Location was close enough to walk to the beach, however the street and infrastructure was certainly NOT touristic. Took taxi in the evening :)

I loved all.

It is a beautiful hotel set within a lush, amazing garden that is kept with a great attention to details by the owner. The rooms are newly refurbished, they are impeccably clean, the service is amazing and the breakfast just fabulous, especially that it is included in the price, which a rarity in the Dominican Republic. Patricia, the owner is just the friendliest person ever and her amazing story is just something not to miss.

Very nice property just renewed, very clean. There are two pools in front of the bar where you can enjoy good drinks. The restaurant food is great, real Italian meals… one of the best carbonara in my life. Excellent hospitality, very nice and friendly people. Will be my first choice if I’ll come back in La Romana.

At the check in the man could not check us in on their computer and demanded cash payment for the stay, he told us to use his ATM. Then after paying told us the WiFi was not working. The television in the room was not working as well. When we came here in December they accepted our credit card.

I recommend having exact change at all time. They didn't take card ( do a have an ATM that changes 9.1%) and more than once I had to wait to get my change back, over an hour, since they said they didn't have any cash on-site, but weirdly only took cash. I had to ask for a receipt, which they did not offer to make sure I got my change back.While the excursion to the Isla Saona was very nice they over charged us compared to the rest of the people who we met on the tour. By 30 US dollars. I would recommend just making the trip to Bayahíbe and purchasing your excursion tour there.They also didn't speak very highly of locals and what I would call a night time family friendly block party they called a rowdy street party.

It was walking distance to the beach and a few of the locally owned beach front restaurants. The pool was also very nice and was open late.

Traffic on the street was very loud our room was right by the road, difficult to sleep. Staff food, drinks were amazing. Would stay again if i could stay in a different room

Virtually impossible to get wet under the shower. Not for lack of hot water availability in the room per se, as the tap for the wash basin gave plenty of hot water. Apparently the water supply to the shower has been partially blocked. Just to be clear, even the cold water stream was very very weak in the shower. The amount of road noise was disappointing at best, or more apt overwhelming and sleep depriving. Breakfast service was really, really slow. Breakfast itself consisted of 1 glass of juice, a good selection of fruit, some toast and 2 fried eggs. Tea is not available, nor were other beverages.
