The property is okay but the food is horrible, some employees are not prepared for customer service, When we got to the room where we were accommodated, the smell was horrible, as if it had been closed for a long time, it was not clean, the iron did not work, the bathroom sink was clogged, the television did not work, we found a huge cockroach, it almost gave us a heart attack. Just looking at it, my husband had a pedicure at the resort's spa and they cut his foot, so I downloaded a photo. My 10 year old daughter and I got horribly sick from the food, vomiting and diarrhea, my daughter got a fever one day. We went there to the clinic that the resort has. The doctor came out, let's wait outside and we waited and waited. They didn't come out. We got tired of waiting and we better end up leaving. It was all horrible and I left a day before I asked for a refund, let's see if they give me one day's growth, we wait and see.

We love the pool and beach. The pool restaurant during the day and night was a 10 out of 10. We love the bar.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and big (family suite), buffets were very good, restaurants as well, especially the Japanese steak house. We had a small medical incident and the staff responded immediately. Water park is nice, pools and bars were great. We watched a show one night which was surprisingly very good.

The service was pretty bad, you would ask 4 times for them to come and get you an extra sheet, blanket and pillow for the sofa. We did it twice because we had to change rooms, and had to call 4 times each time. We had no AC in the room (blowing air but humid and not cold), we asked for them to come fix it 3 times and they came for less than 5 minutes each time and said it “works” then it didn’t. Finally when we asked to change rooms, two guys came and spent over 45 minutes fixing it while I packed for my family if 5 in the middle of the day to move our stuff. Why not just do it right any of the first 3 times?? The Waitor staff generally ignored you in the restaurant. Every time my family (it was a big group) went for our reservation, they said they didn’t have it until we showed the email proof and suddenly it appeared on their list. Getting a drink in the restaurant is difficult as when you ask, they say one minute and avoid your table for the rest of the meal. The drinks at the bars were basically juice, very little alcohol. The rooms had rust everywhere. They didn’t clean my parents room two days in a row even though they called multiple times.

The beach and pools were beautiful. Buffet wasn’t too bad. Front desk was helpful and patient with check in, Domingo especially. The Expedia people Luz tried to help make up for things that went wrong. They were very sweet.

Extremely poor service. Probably the worst I have encountered. Some of the staff were downright rude. When we complained they were not helpful. Food is terrible. Although it had many restaurants all the food tasted the same. They tried to sell us lifetime membership and were very aggressive even when we said we were not interested

This hotel needs better maintenance: in the water park a lot of slides were closed, pool table had holes in the pockets, water was leaking in the shower, volleyball net was super low, you order pizza - you get it in 1.5 hours, so many details that need attention from the management. Food was very mediocre, with only basic choices. if you are a foodie or just love seafood - not your place. Entertainment was also super basic.

The air conditioner wasn’t working in the room but it was resolved quickly although I did mention that the tv in the bedroom didn’t work and no one came to fix it The food for lunch wasn’t the best. Breakfast and dinner were much better

Most staff couldn’t understand any English. It took too long to get towels. We was there over 24 hours and have not received towels. The food and buffet had no seasoning.

Hotel is falling apart and needs major renovation. Pool lights hanging off, tiles missing, water slides very dangerous and caused burns, bumps and bruises. Rooms outdated with bedding full of stains

The restaurants was understaffed, we made a few reservations but it took quite long to have the food/ drinks delivered. It was not worth the wait, we preferred the buffet. Transportation from and to the airport is not included, going outside the hotel can easily be $80.00 US one way. Plan ahead.

The hotel is beautiful decorated, spacious and clean. The manager on duty- Josue, made our stay for our sister bachelorette extra especial. The buffet had variety and food was always delicious. Entertainment by the recreation team was always fun!

Hotel was overbooked. they could not keep up with meal. breakfast, lunch, dinners all had 30-45 mins wait time and if you’re lucky, you get a plate at the buffet. if not, wait another 10 mins for plates. meal time at 6-8pm was a nightmare. unless you’re happy dining at 9 or past that, you will not have a pleasant time. Rooms had issues. We had cockroaches that visited multiple times daily. The hotel suggested they could fumigate the room. No way I would let them do that with kids around. also they were overbooked so switching rooms was not an option. Pool restaurant had tables and chairs that were not cleared of bird poop. i get it that there’s birds. but the least the hotel could do was to get the chairs washed every other day. there’s poop everywhere! fresh ones, dried ones. Beach was covered in seaweed. There’s a clearing in the morning. But that’s not enough through the day. Waterpark that was part of the property was so old, rusty and minimal.
