From the moment we got there - literally- we were preyed upon by salespeople in the lobby. They arranged a “special breakfast” (which wasn’t - it was a buffet in a big dark room) and we wasted 1/2 day of just a few days we had there. We never asked to do it, said in no uncertain terms we weren’t interested and didn’t willingly sign up, and yet we were held there. Our HONEYMOON was highjacked. Yes, the first morning of life with my groom we shared breakfast with a salesman selling us something we didn’t want. We hadn’t seen the ocean or even a restaurant, yet we were shuttled around from office room to office room (not even a facility tour, just sales pitch) forced to listen to info about a product we said in no uncertain terms we were uninterested. All of the kidnapping tactics of taking you different rooms to sign one piece of paper, drive to a different building, etc to disorient. It tainted my view of the entire experience, but especially the Paladium brand that states it is a world leader. They boasted it wasn’t timeshare sales, but I will tell you it was just as aggressive and the same tactics. Kept us there until I essentially threatened them. Be forewarned…. (Yeah I’m still pissed - can’t get that time from my honeymoon back…).

Great location and wonderful staff. Oscar and Cesario were excellent butlers who anticipated our needs. Throughout the stay, all of the staff were helpful and kind and seemed to genuinely hope to make our stay great.

The only con we had was that the air conditioning is tied to a sensor, so our room temperature was always on the warmer side due to the sensor being motion activated.

My husband and I don’t have enough words to describe all of the wonderful amenities this resort offered. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Check-in was easy and staff offered us an amazing welcome drink. The restaurants were delicious and so were the drinks. Everything is so convenient at this resort and the grounds were immaculate. Staff is so attentive, went above and beyond FOR EVERYTHING and overall everyone was just SO NICE! We’re definitely making it a point to visit again. The way the resort is set up, each room has a view of the ocean! Book!! You will not be disappointed!

The staff was wonderful! The butler service is amazing. The girls at the pool Bar did a great job going around getting drinks. Chic show was awesome. LOT of good transportation around resort. Food was yummy

The travel club pitch! We were misdirected about Palladium travel club introduction. Right after the checkin, a guy approached us saying that we have to make a special breakfast reservation the next morning. They next morning we found out that the breakfast was just regular and they assigned a guy with eat with us (which kinda ruined our first breakfast). He constantly was pushing to make us buy their travel club membership. He wasted kinda 3 hours of our vacation time. Once we declined his offer, instantly he became rude to us. This was not expected to us! A very bad start of a vacation day!

It is one of the multiple resorts in the big Palladium resort complex. The best part is that you can visit any amenities of any of the resorts. Their go-cart transportation (within the complex) was excellent!

My wife is dairy free and there was a lot of confusion with language barrier at restaurants as to what on the menu was and wasn't dairy free.

Swim in / swim out room was wonderful. Basically had a private pool to use and it was so so nice and quiet in adults only pool area.

No elevators. I didnt care for pressure to become a time share member. The rooms are nice but need more space for your clothes ( no drawers) Had to keep my clothes in my luggage. I like to unpack when I am staying at a resort for days.

Love the restaurants and the spa and poolside. Beaches very good.

Some of the property was aging slightly (pool appears to need to be retiled, bathrooms in rooms slightly dated) not a huge issue but worth mentioning, we had a cockroach crawl into our room under the door one night but besides that isolated incident we didn’t have any cleanliness issues, upon check in we were told by one of the concierges that he would take us on a tour of the grounds the next day since it was our first time in the Dominican Republic but in actuality he just dropped us off at a time share presentation and told us we weren’t eligible for any recompense for attending the 2 hour long presentation, definitely avoid the baby blue shirted people in the lobby upon check in.

The grounds are kept in immaculate condition, everywhere you go everyone is very nice, you basically are staying on 4 different resorts when you stay here so there is a lot to do, the food is great in most restaurants, the butler staff is 12/10 amazing and really tried to make you feel like you didn’t have to do anything at all, every bar tender and server was very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there to take care of you, they overbooked our original room type and gave us a huge estate room at no extra cost because of it which we very much appreciated!

1. The fake booze. A resort of this caliber should not have fake booze at all. I expected something better than a resort like Sandals when paying this kind of money. I wanted a better experience. Turquesa had it all, except that. A bottle of Champagne should be just that. 2. Also, our butler gave us tickets to the cabaret show. Said, "you'll love it". We did, however when we went to check out there was a charge for the show on our bill. If he had said that that would be there then would would have had the option to choose if we wanted to pay that. I think this was sly and something you should look into. I hate being taken. 3. I though we were seeing the grounds, but we were lured into a timeshare kind of venue. I like being asked if I want to take part in something like this. My husband was very upset that this was what we were doing this at all.

I liked the grounds, music and getting around the property was great.

The curtains in room was dirty. The curtains around the bed was dusty. When cleaning the rooms they need to think about after each person to wash or place new clean curtains around bed and windows. I wiped them down myself and sprayed Lysol which I wouldn’t have to.

The property was very nice and big. It’s multiple hotels within the property. The others are kid friendly. Trs was in the back away from the kids, but had access to all.

I did feel like the staff was choosy on who they wanted to serve which seemed a little impartial which was sad because the people who they chose to appeal treated them not nice epically with tips but because what they looked like. Hopefully they do better

We enjoyed our stay and we liked it all.

My wife and I stayed for 5 days. The hotel was next to the beach. Our room had a pool and ocean view. The staff was polite and very helpful. There are a couple of restaurants with different cuisine. The food was great and well arranged, especially for dinner. I would recommend the TRS Turquesa hotel to anyone who wants a nice vacation.

The “travel club” people are relentless in trying to sell you their club which is like a time share. They roam around looking to talk to you all the time.

The staff is wonderful and make sure you are well taken care of. The beach is beautiful.
