Everything amazing, the place, the people, nice restaurants, Lola is the best to have dinner, bad experience at Capricho restaurant, the food was not cooked and make us sick.

Everything spectacular, I will be back!! I had very nice and long runs around the area, stunning views!! I would like to recognize Benito cooking the barbecue everyday, very pleasant, respectful, professional and everything was delicious. Jonathan, the chef at Lola Restaurant, amazing food. Love the classes with Jonathan the instructor. The girls working at the beach did a great job!!, Erin, Anyi, Dolores at the main pool.

This is my 2nd stay at this resort. And although some service and events weren't available due to covid, the experience was still amazing! I can't wait to come back!

The timeshare desks that guests are forced to walk by daily. The facilities are old and need a facelift and have issues such as bad plumbing, window leaks, evidence of mold. The casino was old and sketchy. Would not let that “amenity” factor in any decision to stay. Beaches had lots of seaweed, but that was common at all resorts we were visiting and reviewing. Not the most family friendly beaches at the properties due to solicitations and a few clubs nearby but there is 24/7 security that do a good job. For some adults, the clubs may be a plus. The clubs music/noise was still pumping at 6 am which you can hear on the beach.

The staff are friendly and go out of the way. I think guests need to remember that TRS Turquesa is part of a mega-facility and hotels are understaffed post Covid. The food had more options than other resorts but you had to make reservations (not guaranteed). They do try to provide top shelf drinks and alcohol. Good beach and towel service. Overall easy to have a good time, a few drinks, and relax. The sunrises are amazing in the DR and the hotel has a good front row seat. Security staff was outstanding.

Food is okay and you have plenty of restaurants but was my least favorite of all the four hotels I stayed at.

I stayed in 4 hotels in total during my stay and I liked that in this hotel they were the most strict about COVID-19 regulations. Beach is nice, white sand but is full of street vendors coming by trying to sell you something.

Constant bothering for photos, massages, dolphin rides or being hit on by male staff. The butler made reservations for a restaurant not even open. The food was TERRIBLE and two of us got very ill. You’d order a meal and something would show up missing or adding something you didn’t want. Portions weren’t ever the same even when you go to the same place.

Barely any activities/shows. The rooms are very worn out and not as clean. So many sellers around the property trying to shove things down your throat, one guy on the beach legit yelled at us and got so scary because we repeatedly told him ‘no, we don’t want to purchase’. Also, we got sucked into this 5 hour venture that was sold to us initially as a tour of the resort but turns out to be some sort of detailed breakdown of a premium memberships for special deals on traveling and all-inclusive resorts. During this venture, we asked multiple times to let us leave and enjoy our day, yet they made us feel pressured with false promise that they are “almost done”. You can see how wasting 5 hours of your 4 day trip on something you have no interest in can be very frustrating.

Staff is not nice. It was all about money. All about tips. Majority of them (not all) did not want to serve you if you didn’t have money in your hand for tip. It was very disappointing.

The beach was beautiful. Water was very nice.

The food is horrendous! It is the most common conversation among guests- comparing notes on how bad all the restaurants are across all three properties. The buffet at TRS does stand out as the worst. The drinks are bottom shelf and you can never get the same drink twice. Order a pina colada (even from the same bartender) and you’ll get a different version every time. They also harp on you to buy excursions. The craziest thing was being sprayed with pesticides while at the pool. Usually a resort will do this in off hours- not here! Expect to be engulfed in a fog of toxic spray poolside. (The mosquitos will still eat you up fyi.) Overall, it’s like being trapped on a horrible cruise- but you’re actually on land- that’s this place.

Unfortunately the Palladium Group Travel Club ruined our stay. We were there for 4 days - they spent half a day bothering us with “buying in” to the Travel Club.

Beautiful property, multiple pools and things to do.

No butler service. Butler said she set up our dinner at Bamboo and when we arrived they did not have our reservation and were very unfriendly and did not work with Butler who called and confirmed she set it up. We ended up not being able to eat anywhere as all places said they were booked. When we checked in we received very little information about what services we were offered and our butler was no help. The staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed anytime we asked for anything. I paid over 3,000 USD for 4 nights and feel like I wasted my money for what we received both in services and customer service. I would not recommend TRS to anyone.

The service did not correspond to a 5 star hotel, specially at the restaurants. We asked for an infusion and they said they didn’t have hot water. We insisted and after 30min we left. No one brought the infusion. We were there for 4 days, on 2 days there was no cold water and we couldn’t shower with hot boiling water. We had to call to get it fixed so we could shower. The battery of the door lock died and we waited for 30min and had to ask a couple of times if anyone was coming anytime soon.

Good wifi, lots of space at the beach. You can take a nice walk down the beach as the TRS Turquesa is part of a big hotel complex.

Timeshare spills. Older buildings. Loud when ppl pass rooms have to put towel under door . Can’t find butler half the time. Guest using speakers blasting music till 230a . Clientele is not a 4-5 star base. Flies all over the buffet . Smoke detector flashing strobe light in room till maintenance ripped it off wall and never brought it back . Room never got changed like promised. Every free gift offered for timeshare was never fulfilled .

I thought it would be an upscale property and it wasn’t .
