the prices for one of the premium restaurants was very misleading. I even brought this up with the resort and they did nothing about it.

Gave 7, not 10 because: They allow crimimals with inprisoned animals like monkeys and birds to make money from taking picture with tourists. This must not happen at hotels with this level. This is a slavery and animal abuse. second thing: guy with the towels at the beach never had one ready when requested. He never cared about a back up and calling to laundry on time. Only did it after asked by customer and we had to wait for 30 minutes for towels. The third: too many maintenance vehicles driving on the walking sidewalks. feeling not safe and it pooring down the air quality because of the gas. also sidewalk quality is bad cause water after rain has nowhere to go and tile coverage is ruined in many places. And in the lobby they tried to charge us extra 100$ for "international fee" after i wanted to pay with my card. I do not care about their expenses and this is not my problem. Either booking has to charge it in an advance or the hotel must taking care of it. I felt very bad while checking in. Very good service and personnel. Clean and safe hotel amenities. Very delicious food on restaraunts. I ve had a good time.

There weren’t many options for food at the buffets lunch and dinner hours. I went to the resort with my two year old daughter, my cousin, his wife and their two year old daughter. We took our girls to the children’s play house. The dolls at the children’s play house were white. there was only one doll of color and braids. My family and I are Dominican people of color. I would have loved to see dolls that represent all races and skin colors. I like for my child to play with dolls that represent her. please buy dolls that are more human representative.

On the weekend there are not to many car running and with all the gest the stop turn into a shoving match.

I think the room can be cleaned better; some sheets had stains on them. I also think the staff in the children's center should be more friendly with the children.

I like the different pool options. I also like the various activities for kids. Most of the staff members were very friendly. the checking process was supper fast it made us very happy.

At 1 pool the bar attendant was rude and don't know how to talk to people. Always complaining about something. One of the pool was very dirty it had one side with green on it even a cup was turning green. The reservation to the restaurant good luck with that you could get a reservation for the week that you are gone. I was able to get 1 to the dominicano at 9 something at night. Also when its time to check out you have to carry your luggage down.

The place it's very big its a lot to do. The train run 24 hours so you don't have to walk back to the room. The buffet has a lot of different food varieties.

There is a company active in the resort the royal holidays. They pressure you to sign a membership of thousands of dollars! They offered us a membership of 20.000 dollars that we can pay in several years. The salespersons are very pushy and agressive in their sales! Dont sign anything! Its a total scam. They approach you with joining a sales presentation. Do not go!!!! Read the reviews in google about them a total scam!!!

The food was not that good. We have been in 4 other hotels in this country so we can compare within the same country and the food was better in all 4 other hotels. The design of the newly renovated hotel is very beautiful, but the finishing is not so good (for example plaster everywhere where it should not be, seal and paint very rough,...). Every day the room was cleaned but our floor was way too wet, it never dried so we always had a really wet floor.

The environment and nature at the hotel are amazing. There were lots of animals, our kids enjoyed it very much! The hotel is newly renovated and has a beautiful design. Our little kids enjoyed the water park very much. We loved the palm trees surrounding the pools and the shades it gave in the pools.

The buffet needs to be re-organized! The food improved. The pools need to be cleaned . there was visible green slime in the pool. there are no steps or handrails to get in or out of pool. there was no waitress service at the pools. the swim up pool had terrible service.

The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were good. There were no elevators. if that’s an issue , request a lower floor. The Al’a cart restaurants were hard to get into. The coffee shop was great! The ice cream shop was great! The Michael Jackson show was good. The train service was good. Overall it was good.

the buffet was a mess. no working phone even after telling the front desk 2 times about it. Odor in the hallways. corner room with obstructed view. a couple light bulbs in the room not working no kind of order boarding the shuttle that takes yiu to the lobby area.

The first days were a bit difficult as the requests made through booking.com were not taken into account for the room. After 2 days going back and forward to the reception and thanks to booking.com intervention, we had a nicer room for the honeymoon and the management apologised. We moved on and had a great time at the hotel for two weeks. The beach is windy (perfect when it is too hot) but the waves are not good for 2-3 years old kids, you need to walk along the beach for 5-10min to have a calm seaside. We were unlucky on the second week of our stay with the seaweed season stating end of May.

Excellent: The design of the hotel; the little lake with flamingos and the three pools. In addition an aqua park for kids and really nice mini club with attentive staff (Yorleni and Alexandra). It is the perfect hotel for families. Good: The buffet is good and also excellent the concept of booking the internal restaurants. (Very good the Mexican restaurant). Two of these 6 restaurants are to be paid but with a reasonable amount and they are really worth it. In one of these restaurants I had the big lobster ever :) The local staff was really nice and welcoming (in particular Tatiana). The hotel has all facilities and just front beach. The animation was in Spanish and English.
