Didn't really care for 100% Ala carte restaurants. We are used to having the buffet as an option. It was nice to have 24 hour room service with good selections.

We enjoyed having a butler that took care of our needs. The top shelf liquor was a plus!

Our butler was assigned a day after our arrival, so we couldn´t have complete information about the hotel facilities.

The accomodations were great. The staff was very kind and willing to help. Dinner was great, with a varied menu even with vegetarian options.

There were a number of things not working or shortages (steam room, excise equipment, etc.). No beach at the actual property.

It was small and boutique which was a plus which means there no lines and quite for the most part.

Our trip was booked in July, I had requested transportation from the airport to the hotel. However, for 4 months, TRS Cap Cana never responded to messages sent about transportation. When I asked in July, they sent me a message with the name and email of someone to provide transportation. The email provided was invalid. I made several attempts to contact the hotel via phone, but no one answered the phone. I had to book a taxi while on the flight from Charlotte, NC, to Punta Cana. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were told the room we had booked wasn't available. We were told that they'd put us in a different room and we would have to change rooms on Monday, which was horribly inconvenient. We asked four different people for extra towels but never received the extra towels. The staff had trouble keeping the mini bar/refrigerator stocked. We had to call 3-4 imes a day to get it refilled. The trip was booked in my name. However, once they realized my wife spoke Spanish, it was like I didn't exist anymore. Our consiaire would only message my wife. Overall, the stay was ok. The food wasn't as good as the reviews suggested. It was more like airplane food. On 3 occasions, I ordered the ribeye medium rare, all 3 times I got well done. Honestly, you could get a better steak at a chain restaurant like Texas Roadhouse. The best meal of the day was breakfast.

The property is far from anything, so if you wanna walk around and see culture it is none, the smell from the marina and seaweed was bad, but that’s not the property fault

Since we arrived, they received us very friendly and with a welcome drink. The check in was fast. Loved the entertainment guy Charlie, he was very nice to us!. At the pool bar Herick and Angel were the best! And Taíris very funny and keeps the vibe during the aerobics. Food was excellent as well, from breakfast to dinner, Roberto and Jesus were there for us always to see if anything was needed. My favorite moment was the foam party at the pool animated by Charlie... It was awesome!!! Definitely has to come back soon.

Although the plating of the food was gorgeous, the portion size was extremely size. and not as tasty as the food look! Bring a foodie I was really disappointed.

Food and drinks were sometimes inconsistent. Not bad overall though. Just sometimes, the 2nd or 3rd time ordering was not the same as the 1st. Check-in process was a little slow because there are only 2 desks, so if there is any trouble with your check-in, that delays everyone else behind you as there is not check in counter. So maybe if there is a troubleshooting person/office that can accommodate when there is an issue, allowing the remaining guests to still flow through. But at least the scenery is nice during your wait.

The staff was amazing! The Butlers: Maria, Maximo and Melvin were the bomb! Bartenders: Misael, Edwin and Manuel did their jobs well. The drinks stayed flowing, to the point you had to move your cup to stop the pouring. Charly, the event guy was hilarious. The Violinist at breakfast was beautiful.

Beach on site is actually pretty small, can get a hotel organised bus to bigger beach but seaweed is a major problem this time of year. It also smells. There needed more sun loungers and parasols by pool. There simply weren’t enough shade. Also we found it a bit awkward to work out tipping etiquette- the predominately American guests appeared to be tipping all the time and this seemed to be expected but maybe being novices at all inclusive we didn’t expect that level of tipping.

Modern rooms, couple of restaurants to choose from, liked being able to leave and walk to what will eventually be a busy square/ town etc. As someone with a food allergy on-site staff were very knowledge.

The pool was amazing, the open bar is very good, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, the staff was very kind and very helpful. I really recommend the circus show.

The food menu is great, but There were only a few options. I stayed not a week and halfway through, I have already tried all options available. Better night activities, for an all inclusive resort there were not that many activities available on a daily basis.
