The room advertised a balcony Jacuzzi/spa tub. The tub structure was there but did not work and had several months if accumulated dried sand or dirt in it. The water spout and controls had been removed. Clearly this has not been operational for quite a kong time yet we paid more for that specific room in order to have the outside spa. Man in neighboring room said it wasn’t working when he stayed in that room 2 years earlier. Showed him photos and he said it hadn’t changed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location and vibe were perfect for a chillax stay. Staff did an excellent job keeping the SAND (!) clean and groomed so it was safe to walk barefooted. Beach Club Restaurant also had a mini-Carnivale afternoon with music & dancing- totally unexpected and great fun. Ocean was sublime

The only thing negative will be about the restaurant/beach part of the club. It can be very long to get your order, and it’s inconsistent. The cocktails at night were made with fresh fruits and so were really good, but during the day they used chemical juices… I took the same breakfast 3 times, the 3 times a little thing was different. Can spend easily more than an hour for breakfast… It’s ok because you should expect to chill and no rush in this kind of vacations, but still sometimes it’s annoying. And the hotel part say you have a little place for you reserved on the beach with your room, but that’s not completly true, it’s only if there is room. Also, but that’s not the hotel fault, we wanted to have snorkeling, and I’ve read online that, even if not ideal, u can still have snorkeling on bavaro beach. Which is not true, too many boats, waves, people, you don’t see one fish. If you want this too, prefer the beach of Cabeza de Toro, where you can actually see (a little at least) fish.

The location is perfect, almost right on the beach. The terrace is really enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helping. Room is clean, confortable. Shops, restaurants, tours and even a club really close by (but still not loud at night). The place is safe, the whole district being closed at night and secured with security agents. The breakfast, included, is really good, and the overall food at the restaurant is good.

The room did not offer ocean view or a whirlpool (as some of the advertising here can be a little misleading in that regard). The Wi-Fi is slow and spotty, an improvement here would be great!

It is a discussion for the price paid at the location compared to the price on Booking. Most of hoteliers in the Dominican Republic will display the price without VAT (18%) which you will pay at the reception when you check in. The fee is not for card payment!

Location right on the beach, very good breakfast with your feet in fine sand! The room with a direct view of the ocean, a large terrace with a sofa, table and armchairs. I recommend for young couples. The hotel is in a neighborhood with barrier and guard (Los Corales), mini market. Clean rooms, AC, everything functional. Private beach with fixed umbrellas with dry palm leaves, services, shower. It's a restaurant on the beach, good music will play until 12:00 am ... at the latest!

It was quiet enough most of the 6 nights we were there, but on the Friday night there was an event which went on till 1.30am and kept us awake. For the rest of the weekend a neighbouring place had loud music but that didn't disturb us so much. Room cleaning was a bit random, the cleaners came on days 2 and 3 out of the 6! A pool would have been good as the sea wasn't as inviting as I'd hoped - a bit rough and the seaweed.

Excellent and original breakfast choices - about 10 in total but a shame we had to choose between juice or coffee. Spacious balcony with large sofa and 2 chairs. Huge bed. We were able to refill our water bottles at reception. We were pleased that we arranged with the hotel to book a taxi for us when we arrived for 45 dollars as there were a lot of taxistas calling out and we were very tired after the long flight. Great walks along the coast but a lot of seaweed (people were taking it away but this is a B I G job!)

If you want to use the hotels sunbeds you have to buy something from the restaurant. Which was ridiculous cause the sunbeds should be free for hotels customer, maybe just charge for outsiders. When you order food “to go” from restaurant, they add some extra fees to your order. A burger for $700 pesos becomes $950 pesos. This happened each time I ordered to go. You end up paying CAD$22 just for a burger with no drink.

It was clean, well decorated, and beautiful. It’s literally at the beach so it was amazing two nights for me. Also, the restaurant is just downstairs, very convenient.

The apartments don’t face the coast but a side street. It’s very loud at night since the clubs are next to it. There are no facilities (pool, gym or reception service before 8am or after 18pm).

Owners are extremely nice, let us shower in another room in the evening before our flight even 7h after checkout, kept our luggage til then as well. Clean and close to the beach.

There should be general housekeeping every day (not changing sheets or towels every day) because there is always so much sand that otherwise gets carried into bed and bathroom. It's also nice to come back to a made-up bed (and yes we made it ourselves but it's the holidays!). I also wished that the breakfast included a hot beverage AND a juice rather than make you choose between one or the other. I would have preferred the sheets to be made of cotton (rather than microfiber/polyester).

The location and the view were breathtaking. Waking up to see the ocean this close every morning was just too good to be true. The staff was super nice and the restaurant below had really nice folks that started to remember us (we stayed 9 days) and even our breakfast choices, especially Edgar won our heart! Breakfast was yummy and we loved the variety. The bed was huge and had a great mattress.

There is no ceiling fan or floor fan on the large patio, so we weren't really able to comfortably enjoy the patio. The address for the property is unclear - the driver from the airport could not find the property. Uber drivers could not find property and I was charged for cancellations.

Good location with ocean view. Good breakfast. Chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

Absolutely cozy little secret hotel directly at the beach. If you dont like Resorts, I think this is the nicest place to stay in Bavaro / Punta Cana! Staff is super friendly, rooms are huge, food at the beachbar is high level, I will definitely come back

There was an event at the beach bar that was really loud to try and sleep though.

Nothing terrible. Just be aware that when you arrive there's and additional 18% tax on the price. Maybe an obligatory government tax not sure. Also I booked the room with the jacuzzi "spa bath". Worth it for the view but the jacuzzi was not heated. Actually was fine cause its hot here all day and a cold plunge was needed in the mornings to shake the hangover off.

Couldn't get a better location. Room looked out onto the beach. Room was simple but very comfortable. Ac worked great. The owner and staff were all fantastic. Super friendly and accommodating. Chill out at the loungers all day. Water was beautiful. Breakfast included so ate there every monting. Very good selection. Edgar and the other restaurant staff were amazing.

The noise, there is a club right next to the hotel and play loud disco music every night till 12 am. Our room has no hair drying and we can't reach out to hotel staff except the normal working hours. There hotel room only provide one thin sheet as cover for sleep.

The hotel located right on the beach and has the ocean in front, absolutely amazing view and location. Food from downstairs restaurant is beyond expectation. Many restaurants bars shops and spa around. Staff is friendly.

- No safe in the room - Payment by card was possible but they wanted to add +18% explaining that this is bank fee. Obviously its not and its the VAT - I consider this as cheating on client - Breakfast - for the price we pay, it was very small range of meals to choose (only 4 option, all with eggs)

the breakfast was included but we got only 2 options, sort of boring as we stayed 6nights. The beach in front of the property is full of Algae which does not get removed, even though there seems to be a lot of people around… but what bothered me most is the plastic garbage on the beach as well. not pretty, too bad that nobody really cares about this. you can walk up the beach to other resorts and it gets better, but not for the plastic everywhere
