The room was VERY damp and hot! The little fan was not really helping to make it cool down. In addition, the staff was a bit pushy at the moment of checking in and payment.

Watersports in mind, this is the spot. Direct access to the beach from their equipment storage gives Wing Camp great value. Centrally located in Cabarete means everything you need is at your fingertips.

Shower was freezing or scolding hot. LOUD, you feel the walls vibrating from the club next door from about 8am-2am everyday. The ocean view was a little sliver of ocean behind roofs. Curtains did not offer privacy, huge gaps on the edges. Windows leaked water in, it formed a pool in the middle of the floor one night. Pillows had black spots, look like mold growing on them.

Wi-Fi does NOT work like at all. Couldn’t use it the entire time, except once for less than a minute. Shower was scalding hot for 30seconds then freezing cold every night. There’s a club right next door and the music is SO loud. Bring earbuds or good luck sleeping.

There was not really a kitchen with only one stove and doing the dishes wasn‘t practical, the common area was not that inviting for chilling and there was only a tiny table for eating meals.

Private room was spacious, clean and with seaview, free drinking water, perfect location, easy communication with the host.

The place is quite basic at the moment but new, very responsive management are trying to spruce it up. The entire town is made up of one street only so traffic noise can’t be avoided. There's a little cafe right below it, with delicious coffee and a lovely hostess.

There’s no kitchen (only a room with a refrigerator, a kettle and a portable stove that you can only use in your bedroom’s floor, or else it may cause a short circuit). Only one sink (in the public bathroom) to clean the dishes and stuff, with no liquid soap. Lack of common areas to chill.

Althought I was there in the middle of a hurricane (lol) and everything was closed, I could see the potential in this place. Really close to the beach, perfect for those who want to do water sports. A backpacking hostel like you can’t find in the Dominican Republic.

It’s a brand new hostel and it’s so cool for what it is ! And it’s going to be better and better! So please do not take as bad advice my comments 🙏🏽 The things I thinks could be better are (but anyway it was ok!): -Having a fan on the roof for 3 Bunk beds is definitely not enough.. lucky that I was just me on the room of 6. At least one on the floor could be perfect 🙏🏽 -As a backpacker the kitchen is really important to save money, and I didn’t see if there was a fridge or pan.. I just saw a one pan’s electric stove for all of us. -I don’t use to go to hostel. So it’s my first one. I was just surprised to pay 24$, arrive on the bedroom and have to make my bed and even if there was already people inside, I don’t know if normally a little cleaning on the floor for the sand or drying the carpet of the floor on the bathroom could be a standard before someone arrives? Anyway, I’d love the place for the vibe, the host are just sooooo lovely, the perfect location and the rest are just details to make it better ❤️ Thank you so much for everything!

It is quite loud because it's close to the main street but actually I guess the whole country is super loud.. The kitchen is nice but you can't cook, just use the fridge and prepare cold meals.

Natalya and Herman are super nice and helpful hosts. The hostal couldn't be more central, the rooms are clean and well equipped.

One of the few places to meet other backpackers in the Dominican Republic. Surfing, kite surf and cafes in nearby area.

Due to it’s location it’s quite noisy. There aren’t any common spaces yet, not even a kitchen, but the owners are working hard to make this happen quickly. Internet was sometimes to weak for videocalls.

Very friendly and organised owner before, while and after my stay!! The place is new, nicely done and clean. Also the location is great. I really recommend!

Right in the middle of where you want to be in town, 20 second walk to the beach and an awesome yard to store all the kite toys & have a work-out on no-wind days :)

Some people complained they could hear the motorbike taxis at night but it didn't bother me, and it was convenient having them close by to get around. Also, some people mentioned they could hear music from a few beaches away, but I headed there for $3 Mojitos during Happy Hour and it's wasn't bad at all!

Great little place near restaurants on the beach, a short cut thru a restaurant was easy access to the sand, the coffee shop, juice bar, spa and hammocks were really cool, people used the kitchen, great wifi, very clean

Unfortunatly Our beds were really bad , the Springs are broken they should be replace we did not sleep much because of this , the main door and bathroom doors were really noisy , not the best lat at night , the shower stand was broken so had to use one hand to hold.it when showering . In my 4 months travel this was the most uncomfortable bed I had

Lack of kitchen facilities, I understand why by you must find a solution with it. I used to run a hostel and know the importance of proper cooking facilities and access to drinking water and drinks in fridge after 8pm, internet is crucial these days un less you chose to be wifi negative but that attracts a different clientele

No hot water for more then 75 seconds. No WIFI (does not work). No commun area to meet pther travelers. No kitchen lol. Quite loud music until 2 am. Bed not really confortable. The room looks cheap and need some love.
