Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI didn't like having to be buzzed in and out. We had a taxi waiting for us and had to go search the hotel to find someone to let us out. It's not a big hotel, so it wasn't too much of a problem, but if you're in a hurry for something, be aware of this. Good noise reduction between the rooms, but not the halls so you can hear everything passing by your room.
Easy location for transportation if you're taking the bus. It drops you off one block from the hotel. It's walking distance to shopping and food. There is on street parking across the street for vehicles, most other vehicles are permanent residents, I think. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was nice and accommodating. The room was huge and it had a courtyard. The breakfast was typical ecuadorian style, and they had a water refill station at reception. The doors are locked and you need to be buzzed in/out for security purposes. Hot water in the showers with decent water pressure.

The location for breakfast was very nice. It was covered, open- air with an option of an enclosed area if you wanted to be warmer. Very pleasant.

The Hotel is easy to arrive and the hotel location it´s very nice. The room and the american breakfast was good. The room is comfortable.

United StatesThe breakfast was very simple, I only eat once. The fruit was two slices of a dried up mandarin and old cantaloupe it seemed to be spoiled with a very bad taste. They served dry scrambled eggs with cold croissant. The coffee was watered down weak. I don’t see how the other reviews stated it was a delicious breakfast, I had to go into the kitchen to observe the staff eating a gourmet breakfast and serving the guest the very least to get by.

PolandPersonel does not speak English. The sheets wasn't very clean, and the dust was on the furnitures. The biggest disadvantage was the breakfast - every day the same scrambled eggs with bread or croissant.

GermanyI don't understand why the breakfast was lauded by previous visitors. Cold coffee, a tiny pinch of butter, and unattentive service personal have in fact made it one of the worst breakfasts we had in Ecuador. The experience was completed by a moving bed and a tiny shower.

FranceSCAMMY HOTEL, RUN FROM IT. The staff tries to charge you with as much "extra" they can. They don't tell you what is extra or not, then you discover your surprise bill at check out. I filled a complaint with Booking.com, telling that nobody informed me about those extra costs, and the Hotel manager LIED to Booking.com arguing I was informed about prices of each extra stuff, which is not true. SCAM Hotel !
