We just finished an exceptional stay at Black Pearl! If you’re visiting Isabela, this is honestly the best place to stay. It’s incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet, and it’s so much nicer being a little outside the main center. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the main strip, and there are several markets and restaurants nearby. Lienke was a wonderful host. She gave us tips on where to eat and what to do. We’re sad to leave! Really such a perfect spot.

The Black Pearl is a wonderful spot if you do not mind a short walk into town (very short walk). the hosts were so helpful and informative. The hotel is attached to a travel agency, so booking tours was very easy. Lovely room, perfect amount of space for a single traveler.

Look no further! The owners are very helpful with recomendations of food places and tours. We booked the tours through them and both tuneles and sierra negra were great tours with good guides! The rooms were spacious, there was free water and the owners were always there to help.

The place is spotless clean and excellent base for Isabela island. Only 5 minutes to the center of the town and 7 minutes to the beach. Lienke was very helpful with the tips what to do and where to eat and arranging a taxi if needed. Beer from a self-service fridge is a plus, too. The place is all new, nice and stylish.

Very new property and modern w/ well-appointed rooms. Away from the noise of the main town, and still walkable and convenient, which was really nice. Lienke was great with providing us all of the information prior to our stay and upon arrival for things that we could do in the area as well as restaurant recommendations and they were all spot-on!

the location is a bit removed from the main town (about 15 min walk) but is very safe and easy walk. there isn't much around the apartment but we typically bought stuff we needed from the town on our way back and this worked well. also, the location didn't matter to us since we were out on day trips during our stay,

The apartment was very clean and each of the 2 bedrooms had its own AC, which was great. Lienke was super helpful in booking day trips for us during our stay - we did the Los Tuneles and sierra negra, which were both excellent and highlight of our galapagos trip. you get picked up and dropped off from the apartment and this made for a stress free/minimal planning stay. There was also filtered water provided and there is a small kitchenette. I would definitely recommend staying here particularly if you are doing day trips through the owner.

if WiFi is important to you, the connection was patchy. However if you do need internet plenty of the bars have Starlink.

Staying at the Black Pearl during our visit to Isabella was outstanding. The owners, Lienke and Dario (and their adorable son) were fabulous to work with. They responded promptly with all of the questions that I had prior to my arrival there. They met us at the property upon our arrival and took the time to show us a map of the city including restaurant recommendations and activities we might enjoy. They also helped us to book our tours to Tuneles and Sierra Negra. On our final day, they let us leave our luggage in a secure area while we did some more activities around town prior to our ferry in the afternoon. They also helped to coordinate a taxi ride to the port upon our departure. The room and property itself is lovely. It is very spacious and easily accommodated a family of 4 with lots of room to spare. The beds were comfortable and the shower is lovely. Location was great and easy to walk to the main area of town while still being quiet at night. I would highly recommend the Black Pearl !

We enjoyed our stay at the Black Pearl. It was easy to get to. Our host, Lienke, was very knowledgeable of the island and recommended great places for us visit around the island and to eat. She and her husband also operate a local travel agency and we were able book several daily tours with them before we even arrived at the island. This made it very convenient and easy for us. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast we had there.
