The stuff were not speaking English and were quite rude.

This is a historical building 2 minutes by foot from the historical old town of Cuenca. Excellent location and the room we had was great! We felt like living in the past!

They never cleaned our room or changed the garbage in the bathroom during the 4 nights we stayed there, which was a little weird.

The building was a really cool old colonial building and was decorated very well. The location was very close to the central square and walking distance to restaurants and everything else in town.

The bathroom could use an actual shelf and towel hooks. All my toiletries were in my bag on the floor.

Beautiful building in great location. There was only one employee (manager?) who we met and he did everything (check-in, breakfast, housekeeping). He was very nice- even got up at 5am to arrange a taxi for us to airport. The room was comfortable and quiet. Free tea and instant coffee in lobby.

Location is 4.5 blocks from Parque Calderon, so very close to everything. Building is charming, characteristic patrimonial. The bed was very comfortable - a good mattress. The service was kind and quick in every respect. Breakfast was very good and made more enjoyable by the other guests we met.

Poor lighting in bathroom - couldnt see to put my contact lenses in! Not a big issue though. Breakfast was in a courtyard with an open roof - i am sure it would be beautiful in the summer but a little chilly when we were there.

My wife found her pillows to be a bit thick and the room was sometimes cool. The bathroom was a bit small.

The hotel oozes old world charm. Breakfast was good and the location was great. The room was quite big with high ceilings. The staff were very helpful. Great location.

If I stayed again I would have a look at a different room, maybe upstairs. My room faced the internal courtyard so it lacked a bit of privacy and was a bit dark

The room we had was quite loud as it was on the road. The room itself was a little dated (Eg cracked plaster, the safe didn't work). The fruit and juice at breakfast was great, but the eggs could have been better. And there was a coffee machine, but this was extra. Having said that, at this price point, those things were not an issue at all but just the reason it is 9 rather than 10, we'd still highly recommend it as a place to stay.

it's a really welcoming hotel in a great location, and fantastic value for money. Honestly, at $35/night for two people b&b it is great. the staff were really friendly too

It was really cold in the room despite the outside temperature being warm - a small electrical heater could be nice. The staff only spoke Spanish (but they were friendly and we managed to communicate!).

Incredibly nice staff - helpful with explanations for the city as well as the impressive building the hotel is located in. It is located just a few blocks from the center-center, so easy to explore city walking as well. Can only recommend this place in a great city!

It was a bit cold, but it’s also a renovated historic building, that’s to be expected.

The building itself if beautiful, and the location is within walking distance to the center and museums. The staff was very friendly!

The only thing I’d say is the showers leaked water from the bottom, so the bathroom floor filled with water unfortunately.

The building we stayed in has a lot of history and life. The location is great, really close to a lot of attractions in the center of the city!

The beds were very firm. But maybe some people would like that. Very old tv in room but we weren't there to watch tv anyway.

The staff were great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the tables surrounded by garden. The location was very convenient. The house is beautiful. We enjoyed the balconies. Nice shower with good water pressure.
