An oasis of tranquility with a beautiful inner courtyard right at the edge of old town Quito. Spacious room with a huge and comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Super breakfast on the rooftop.

Great location in the historic Centre of Quito. Lovely house with attention to every single detail. Very atmospheric. Sunset from the rooftop terrace as well as breakfast overlooking roofs of Quito is remarkable experience.

Hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Only a short walk to the main square. As I couldn't eat the bread at breakfast (I require gluten free & they didn't have it) the chef made a special effort to make me a cheesy corn dish which was much appreciated.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. They made the place feel like home. It was also great to have tours available to book, and our tour guide was exceptional!The space was always clean and it felt so great to have such a cozy place to come back to after our adventures of the days we spent in Ecuador. We also felt very safe with the key lock for the outside doors and doors to our room. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Some difficulties communicating with front desk. The night before very early morning departure we were asked to pay cash and told an electronic receipt would be sent. It was not received. On the way to airport we received a call saying we had not paid. That was cleared up quickly. I know I should have insisted on a paper receipt when handing over cash. Breakfast was just ok. Cold, old coffee. Walls are very thin.

The place is as pretty as the pictures. A lovely space to be in. Beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Very limited street noise, very good location. Very good experience sorting out some issues prior to arrival. Thank you Tanya.

Part of the glamour of the building is its heritage, but that comes with some minor inconveniences. Hot water isn't always as forthcoming. The interior of the building is lovely, but sound does carry and the floors do creak a bit when you walk around.

Overall, this location was perfect for our needs. Easy walking to everything. The staff were fantastic. The interior of the hotel is also wonderful, especially considering that the building has heritage back to the 1500s. Breakfast was delicious, and the view from the top terrace is breathtaking.

Breakfast could have more options, it is limited to various fruits, eggs and bread.

The place is beautiful, it is just like the photos, spacious and clean, the staff is friendly. The location is very good in the historic center, very close to mini supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries and just one block from La Ronda street, where there are tourist restaurants with typical food.

We booked a room that was facing the main square so we did need ear plugs to sleep due to the traffic.

Beautiful historic building in a central location in the Old Town (see picture). Staff very friendly. Lovely breakfast in a room on the roof terrace. Unlimited free filtered water. Very spacious room and bathroom with beautiful decor. Big comfy bed.

They took excellent care of us. We arrived late in the evening and left a cell phone in the taxi! Our host was able to communicate w/ the taxi service and it was returned within the hour.

Not only was the hotel superbly decorated with reading rooms, rooftop breakfast area with great views, almost like a museum with dispays and information. staff and ownership were not only extremely nice and helpful but always available for any help. a great place.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful historic property. Location is great, within walking distance to most places within the historic center as well as many restaurants. Rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also great, and served on their terrace with a view of the Virgin statue. Staff were nice, and helped us to organize taxis when needed. WiFi was also really good. We would have happily stayed here longer, and would stay again!

location was blocked by police so our driver couldn't get close to the hotel to pick us up.

we enjoyed the breakfast since we didn't have to leave early, room was comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. the staff helped us carry our bags to our taxi since the road was blocked.
