Rooms with balcony are on a noisy street -- if you need quiet, get a room on the other side. (We were so tired it didn't matter at all!)

The hotel owner was so gracious and helpful in every way. She allowed us to check in early and leave late; she was kind and thoughtful.

Beautiful Hotel with incredibly kind and helpful staff that made our 1 week stay very comfortable. Great internet, comfortable beds, hot showers and they even helped with laundry services. The breakfast was wonderful, with fruits and good coffee.

Breakfast was delicious. Loved the different types of coffees. The hotel was recently remodeled and is very modern. Loved the inner courtyard area. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and had a beautiful bathtub! Maria was a superb host! She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in making sure our stay was perfect. We will stay with her again at the end of our trip when back in Quito , that’s how much we loved it!

Our room could use outlets by the bed, places to hang coats and an extra shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries.

We love staying at Casa Anabela because it is centrally located, the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, enough to get us ready for fun adventures in the day. The staff are very friendly, kind and personable. The rooms are very clean with great architectural design and comfortable beds. We will certainly be back to stay here again.

This boutique is run with a family-like atmosphere. Breakfast is made on demand every morning with ample fruit, bread/pancakes and eggs. The location is a 3min walk from the National Cathedral and a 7min walk to old town square. We arrived from the airport after midnight and the front desk stayed up to let us in. They upgraded us to the upstairs suite which was amazing. One thing to note, there is an elementary school next door which means you might be woken up at 730am on school days. This was not an issue for us but could be for other travelers. FYI - Ecuador is also a cash-centric country. Every merchant requests cash when possible and there are often two different prices - one for cash payment, another for credit card payment

The Hotel is in a great location and is very secure. We had a lovely room, which was exceptionally clean and tidy. Great communication with Maria and staff, even giving us an early check in as we had travelled overnight and arrived in Quito at 10.00am. and the room was ready. Maria was so kind and helped me retrieve my phone after leaving it in a taxi. To top it all off we had a fantastic breakfast plus excellent WiFi. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you for enhancing our stay in Quito.

Very clean, simple but nice decorated, breakfast is great, fresh fruit, and bread, tasty strawberries yogurt, eggs are made to order. Wonderful friendly staff. We love both Maria! Water bottles are provided every day. Common room has water, hot water heater, microwave. We also arranged airport pickup through the hotel. The young Maria speaks English very well and gave us good info on Quito.

Rich breakfast and even a glass of wine in the evening. Nice renovation. Very kind and helpful staff , defenetly will stay there again when we are in Quito! Lady from reception even accompanied us to the bus stop, and found a very good guide to Cotopaxi for us.

During my stay, I noticed that the hotel was exceptionally well-managed. Maria and her husband were accommodating throughout my stay, providing me with useful tips and suggestions regarding the area. Maria's efforts were particularly noteworthy, as she went out of her way to ensure that I got an early breakfast (before 7 am) on days when I had to leave for tours. Additionally, she was very kind to let me extend my check-out time.

The shower did not have a curtain or door which meant we had difficulty using it without creating puddles on the floor. On the other hand there was lots of hot water and delicious thick towels.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating . They gave us directions, arranged taxis and once drove us to meet a tour bus. The room was huge and dramatic. Well located to explore the preserved historic district.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Anabela! We stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was amazing and so helpful! Maria was great with communication.

I was warned not to walk around the neighborhood at night as it is not safe.

Property is so beautiful. Location is great its less than 10 mins walk to Plaza Grande and 2 blocks away from Basilica del Voto Nacional. Staff was so accommodating and helpful.

Beds and pillows were below the quality of where they should be for such an otherwise great product.

This unique hotel is a jewel. The renovation of this historic dwelling is most impressive. I would encourage ownership to share pictures of the product prior to renovation as it was hard to conceive without some pictures. The staff was beyond accommodating. We checked in early and Maria was kind enough to show us to our room and allow us to store our bags prior to check in. The afternoon/evening host was also most kind and accommodating. Maria who handles the front desk had perfect English and was as lovely as could be. Beds and pillows could be much more comfortable but aside from that, this hotel is a great find.
