United KingdomAs the wall between the neighbour is very thin, you might hear noise from their TV or shoes, but the neighbours are usually very good and if there is a problem, the owner is on to it straight away. Fortunately, the construction noise that I had to endure is now over, so I'll definitely be back again if I am in Loja.
The apartment is quite spacious and private with its own bathroom and kitchen. All the utensils are new, as is the apartment. The beds and pillows are comfortable with white cotton sheets. The WiFi is usually very fast, but occasionally drops out. Nice bathroom with hot shower. Massive windows for spectacular sunsets and views over the mountains. There's a desk and a chair which is handy for those who work online. It's in a quiet, safe street so it's usually quite peaceful. I honestly don't think the photos on this site show you how nice this place is. There's a great mini market within 2 blocks and the famous plaza within 5 or 6 blocks. Finally, don't forget to visit Parque Jipiro.. One of the best I've seen 35 countries later. You're also on the doorstep of one of the most famous national parks in Latin America, nicknamed "the lungs of south America" with hundreds of different birds, flowers and plant species.

United KingdomI really enjoyed saying here for 2 months. It's a large studio with comfortable bed and pillows, and everything you need to Cook. Hot shower and everything is new in the apartament. The views are beautiful over the city and mountains with incredible sunsets. The host is very attentive and answers messages promptly. The only resaon I left is because they started erecting a roof opposite which is too noisy when I'm teaching online, but no problem if you're out during the day.

The room is spacious and clean. Towels are provided. There is also a tv with Netflix. The host is very friendly, and he let us use the washing machine for free. The neighborhood is quiet and so is the room. There are groceries and restaurants nearby. It is a 15/20min walk to the central market region. Very good value for money in Loja

United StatesMany things, starting with me waiting for about an hour to be able to reach the property manager so someone could come and let me in to the property, I had already booked when they sent me a message saying check in was by appointment only and due to transportation time I did not get to the location at the estimate time, so I had to wait even though in the add they have check in times from 1 pm. The room they put me in was half finished, one of the walls was bare play wood still. I got bitten by fleas, I contacted the manager he said it was an isolated incident, that no one else had complained about fleas before but I do not believe that is the case since they accept pets in the rooms even though their policy in the add clearly states pets are not allowed. I took pics of the dog staying in the room in front of my room. The property is far from finished and there is construction noise all day long, and construction material everywhere, it’s just a mess. Also the dogs barking at night. The property does not have free cancelation policy so I had to stay but left a day early, on a Sunday because there were people who had music on and were singing so loud I thought I was at the flea market or a night club, terrible stay honestly, and I also made recordings of that situation so they can not deny it.

United KingdomIt wasn't the cleanest place. It was fine but small things like the coffee maker still had coffee grounds in from the last guest. The blanket on the bed seemed to have white marks on it. There was no dish soap so I questioned how clean the kitchen utensils were. For the price I would happily stay there again though.
The room was spacious and in a quiet area. Nice to have a kitchen for simple food preparation though it was basic. Netflix was a bonus, you didn't need a password to watch. Wifi was good. Nice view of the mountain. Really great value.

United KingdomI feel that hygiene is a fundamental aspect of being a host equally as having a bed in the room for example. Hygiene shouldn't be a subject to a low.or high price. It's not a luxury, it is a necessity. On the floor there were plastic pieces of a cover which made me question whether the floor was cleaned in the first place. On the bedsheet there were hair although they appeared cleaned however it's an instant question when you find hair of other people on your pillow 2/3 towels had small red and black stains on them and around the bathroom mirror there were trimmed hair. For me, coming from a healthcare background all these feel uncomfortable when I'm staying to a place other people might be ok with it. On the day of arrival there is a self check in process and the door needs a bit of playing around to open but nothing major. There is no sense of hospitality in terms of getting info about the city etc. For me this is not a problem but other people might appreciate this little detail Finally, on day of arrival received a message saying that I should consider what I booked for before making a review to avoid confusions that could lead to bad reviews.although, j understand that many times people do leave bad reviews that don't reflect reality or just having expectations that don't much what they chose for, I find this unnecessary as we are all adults and we can decide for ourselves. Especially, when something fundamental as hygiene is on an average (at best) level you should be cautious of directing visitors review's.
I thought a lot of leaving a review but I think it's always worth to leave a review so that businesses can improve. First the good aspects The room was spacious and the location was fairly central just 5 minutes to main square walking There was hot water in the shower and 3 towels provided. WiFi was working well. I briefly met one of the staff members the next day and was very friendly and welcoming Price was very low which impacts the value for money especially if you are travelling on a budget

United StatesThis was a great location but because it was a major holiday it was hard to find food to eat . Even to order food on food apps was a problem only a few places were open , A refrigerator and a microwave would be an added plus in these types of circumstances . I live in Ecuador on the coast and you can at least find places open to eat during carnival .I didn't have the option to buy food at the supermarket because ,there was no were to keep it cold or cook it . The hot water in shower never worked despite having the electric shower head attached .There is a washer on site but no dryer , hair dryer or fan to dry your clothes. So if you come you will have to hang them outside to dry. This is normal for Ecuador. The problem was it was cold and raining outside so I didn't have that option. It would have been nice to have a tea pot to make coffee or tea ,because it was freezing cold in the room and but the three blankets did help.
It was clean and the location was perfect very walk able . host provided three blankets ** Note before you book the owner/ manager will answer you right away but is not on site and there is a nice guide book in the room with places to eat and places to visit. I love the amount of towels and hand soap ,I normally bring my own just in case . The room looks exactly how it appears in the picture and has table,chairs , and TV.
