Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesWould be wonderful to have an elevator!!!! Also, would be great to have the jacuzzi, turco, etc. available during the day instead of waiting until 4 pm.
Breakfast was cook to order, very good and very fast.....no complaints. Front desk staff and parking attendant was exceptional!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, great value for a superior location and great product!

South AfricaWe were booked into a different room and had to change the next day. Breakfast was served on chipped crockery. All the crockery was chipped except for the cups. The dining area is more like a canteen with no menu. All the tables and floor around had bits of food on. Breakfast is scrambled eggs, a roll and a slice of queso fresca. Coffee is instant coffee not filter coffee :-( No ceylon or earl grey tea. The street is noisy but we were in the heart of Baños. We were also under the swimming pool with a lot of water damage on our walls. The shower tends to change pressure quickly and intermittently after a while. I would have waivered and ignored much of the above had the coffee been locally grown filter coffee but serving instant coffee in Ecuador seems like a poor effort even if it is in a canteen style mess.
Bed was comfortable. The shower worked fairly well and provided hot water. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned well.

United KingdomTV needs an update (regular cable, not smart TV) and unfortunately when sound was made in the hallways it travelled pretty far and our sleep got disrupted a few times from party-goers returning late.
The view, location and use of the spa were wonderful. We were happy we could also bring our dog, and believe that the hotel is value for money when compared to other spots on Banos. Breakfast was also a nice touch with fresh juice, and good eggs.

Also, not the full spa was open which isn’t a problem, however it would have been god to have been notified about this beforehand as it might alter one’s decision.
