We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Loja city. Exquisite decor and installations are immaculate. One of the best hotels I've stayed in Ecuador with a great price and 5 star service without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Grand Victoria Boutique Hotel; Staff is exceptional, and even though they are not bilingual, they still try their best to accommodate any inquiry. Truly an amazing place to lodge while in Loja city with beautiful pool, jacuzzi and sauna, bar and restaurant serving menu items and drinks are also great.

United StatesWe arrived quite exhausted and we’re hoping to be able to rest but, unfortunately, the hotel had a very noisy event. Due to the open atrium design of this colonial era hotel, the amplified speeches and music was very loud and unavoidable.

EcuadorLocation of room faced street and was noisy. I would stay inside not facing street next time to avoid noisy street cars and people. There was election going on and lots of activity in streets with that. Still not a big deal as I had earplugs.
Love the location . Staff did excellent job and went out of way to accommodate and help. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay again. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed.

United StatesThis is a personal thing, but having the dining area open to the pool made me not wish to use it. The idea of guests watching us swim while they were dining did not appeal to me.
The staff was very accommodating, assisting us with a taxi to the Loja Airport, also personally delivered wine glasses and an opener for a bottle of wine we had purchased. The bed was very comfortable, hot shower, and there was a refrigerator in our room, which was great because I had medication which needed to stay cold. The breakfast was very good, and the waitstaff friendly.

United KingdomThe noise. Oh heavens, it was noisy. There was a party the first night with many children which only stopped at midnight. The second evening there was a function with nightclub level music until 1.30, after which our misery was compounded by the staff setting up tables below our room until 2.30 and beyond. Why scrape them along the floor??? The hotel has two large open areas like covered courtyards, and any noise from any part of the building echoes in this cavernous space. The management must must must decide whether to let rooms to non attendees if they have functions or weddings, or at least warn them in advance that sleep may be impossible. The room was stifling as we couldn't open the windows due to the noise (yes, we have ear plugs) so a fan is essential. An adjustment was made a little grudgingly to our bill after we complained, but it wasn't really adequate. Such a shame, it could have been a real treat to stay.
Beautiful hotel very close to the town's main square. Room was immaculate and impeccably clean. Secure parking underneath the building. Restaurant had a simple menu, but the food was enjoyable. We appreciated the welcome drink in the bar. Very comfortable beds.

United StatesOur room was sort of cavelike. No exterior windows. Worse, it was right next to a room that was being worked on. Until 10:30 pm, paint fumes and high-volume music entered the room. Staff was sort of inattentive to our comments about the noise and smell.
The staff was helpful. When I asked for wifi password for common areas in order to do a zoom meeting, they offered me an office space and a cable connection so my meeting would go smoothly. I was very grateful for the help.

EcuadorWhen I reserved the room, the price for 1 or two people were the same. When I brought another person, they charged me $25 extra. That’s ridiculous. The tv was broke, the controls weren’t working, the breakfast was only for one person even when they made me paid $25 for another person. They wanted to pay $10 extra for breakfast for my friend. They won’t see me again. For future customers, make sure you ask before you make a reservation with this hotel. Also, when I wanted to use the pool, it was closed for customers because someone reserved the restaurant which means no one was allow to use the pool. I won’t comeback to this hotel.
