This hostel is perfect. Great location, very comfortable and clean rooms, the staff is so friendly and they take the time to explain all the different activities you can do in the area. And finally, the price is good 👍 Just go for it!

Saulo was exceptional in his welcome and explanation of things to do in Banos. His use of English is also incredible. His Dad, just as friendly with no English is very patient and helpful. Very comfy dorm with ensuite. Small kitchen for cooking. Great location. Quiet. Cute wee pooch. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed everyday. Its their home, and they take pride in it. Great artwork on the walls too. A very homely feel.

Incredible stay and probably the best hospitality I had experienced in Ecuador! Saulo was full of advice and very patient with my limited Spanish (he speaks many languages but recognised I wanted to practice my Spanish so helped me with this). He gave me great advice on what I could do and was really flexible. He let me borrow a shower cap and a towel to use in the termas. He gave great recommendations on food and clearly has very high emotional and cultural intelligence from the interactions I had with him, very interesting and genuine person. His father was also very kind and helped answer my endless questions as well. I stayed in the dorm which was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the kitchen was clean and simple.

Staff at the hostel were super friendly and helpful. They gave us loads of local tips and got us a good price for a Cuyabeno tour (cheaper than we found elsewhere). Lovely place

We booked canyoning through the hostel however heard others on our tour paid a cheaper price. May be worth shopping around on any activities you would like to do. The tour did pick us up from the hostel so the convenience was great for us.

Good location close to restaurants. Hosts were extremely helpful with recommendations on activities. Kitchen was well stocked with items to make basic meals. Good laundry service, $2/kg.

- the owner is just so helpful and friendly, probably not to be found anywhere else in Baños. - situated further from the party area but still in the center to reach everything within walking distance (supermarket, zona rosa, Trekking, hot springs, terminal... - the room was spacious and even with a small balcony

You can only hang out in the social area until 10pm, which we didn't mind but it depends what you are looking for in a hostel in terms of the social aspect.

Good location and felt safe. Room was spacious and clean and we had hot water. The hosts were very helpful and knew everything about the local area, it was like having your own tour guide which was great!

Shower water would fluctuate from hot to cold to hot.

Beautiful garden, nice size kitchen and room. Mostly wooden floors and decorated very nicly. Very open and airly. Provided all necessary information up front, very organized.

No lockers for valuables. Also, Baños is a noisy party town, so even if this house is luckily a bit out of the main party area, you might hear noise by night.

The hostel owners are great and they create a good atmosphere. Considering that Baños is a total tourist trap, their info about what to do around is very welcomed.

It felt like a non-existent social aspect, as far as meeting other travelers. Hot water was variable. There was a small price discrepency between my booking and actual price paid. To leave or re-enter after 10 PM, you have to use a key to unlock the main gate, which only works from the outside of the gate (you reach through - doable but annoying). No outside alcohol allowed.

The staff were great. I interacted primarily with Saulo (spelling?), who speaks multiple languages fluently. The rooms were clean and the place was quiet at night, excellent for sleeping. The place was an excellent value for the price. It is worth noting that they are strict about no outside alcohol or guests - which I'm sure contributes to keeping the parties out, but might not be for everyone.

It is not snowing in Banos! Do not look at the weather forecast-The towers are located on the mountain.

Owned by a very friendly family who live on sight. The son who checked us in was so nice. He said - what do you want to do while in Banos then proceeded to give us information. His super power is writing upside-down. He did this when showing us places on the nice map he gave us. He reads English Fantasy books. They have a  small book exchange. There is a kitchen just for guests to use that has everything you need. The location is a few blocks from town. Just far enough for a quiet night with a view of the mountains. They let us borrow swim caps which are mandatory at the hot springs. The Indian and Thai restaurants he suggested were wonderful.  And of course the food at the market. Took the local bus to the falls. Lots of fun. Bus is crowded when the kids are going home from school. But a fun atmosphere.
