I ended up in a much bigger space than what I needed. Everything was very nice and clean and it had all the amenities I needed, including a water filter. The landlady is very nice and helpful. I wish her all the best :)

Immaculately clean apartments, very nice staff who helped me as much as possible. The apartment was great value for the size, perfect place for families! Location is only a short walk into the main tourist area of the port.

We enjoyed our stay at Hostal Tintorera as it offered a small apartment with full amenities (kitchen, aircon and seperate rooms). Our host Martha was very nice and friendly to us, especially with the kids! We would stay here again

The apartment was really spaceous the price would be really cheap if cca 5 people stayed here. They cleaned every day and there were trashcans for recycling. The kitchen worked great (induction stove, toaster). There were free bicycles available for rent.

No place to sit outside. Airconditioning in the main room didn't work. Instead of water filter we would have preferred a water jug. Some nights were quite noisy (street noises, barking dogs...). Light in communal hallway kept going on and off which made sleeping in one of the rooms a bit annoying.

Staff doesn't speak english at all. Construction works was in process during my stay, it was loud, but just daytime.

Nice and friendly guesthouse, about 8-10 minutes from the centre by walk. I had a very nice room, with own kitchen, it was great! Room cleaning every day, and really helpful staff You can use the bikes of the houses, during your stay. It's a very kind and important service in the Island.

Large space was very nice. We had our own kitchen with all utensils provided and a coffee maker. Air con worked well in the bedroom. Place was a bit of a walk from the Main Street but quiet. Maybe small stores around and laundry service on the street.

2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with air conditioning that was serviced daily. Lovely staff and cute little rooftop area too. Great value, recommend!

It was spacious, comfortable, close to the centre and super hospitable and helpful host. She connected us with so many agencies to look for tours. She helped us get our $500 deposit back after chasing the tour agency guy and threatening to report him to the ministry of tourism. I mean what more can be done as guest of the hostel.

There was someone's food in the microwave and lot of made food in the fridge. Although we didn't need these facilities, it could have been cleaned.

Location was very good. About 15 min walk from ferry terminal. 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. Quite a big room for 6 people although we were only 3. Close to restaurants etc.

The safe didn't work. Inconsistent hot water in shower. Noisy room #8 near the clothes washing room; you can hear laundry being done all night and windows gave only the interior corridor so can hear everyone walking inside.

Free drinking water provided. Had hairdryer. Clean towels. Despite Santiago not speaking English, we communicated well via Google Translate. He informed us upon arrival about the local holiday and helped us secure ferry ride to Isabela despite it being sold out. We booked all our 3 ferry rides through him as he got us a $5 discount each ride per person. He got us a great deal on a private transport from Baltra Airport to el Chato (tortoise sanctuary, craters and lava tunnel) for $50 per person (when other tour operators were charging a lot more). He was always available on WhatsApp. He helped with a good deal on snorkelling tour too! Room is basic. Great restaurant choices on Isla Duncan just around the corner. Look for ladies making empanadas at night on the street.

The wifi is very slow (impossible to watch a movie and it is very difficult to send pictures)

We had our private small apartment with a small kitchen and a huge bedroom. There is a lot of space and the kitchen is well equipped (there is even a rice cooker and a blender). We had also access to free bikes and the personnel is very friendly ! There are a lot of small grocery shops nearby (fruits, bakery,…) and it is 8 min walk from the Malecón.
