Not a lot of options for places to eat in the evening, but I think that’s similar in many parts of the city.

Location is great, great access to everything. Sandra the owner was lovely, was very flexible, K couldn't be more grateful. Added bonus was that there wss loads of information what to do in Quito and how to get around within the hostel.

My daughter and I spent a week with Sandra at the Hostel Revolution. We really enjoyed our stay and that was mainly due to Sandra. She is so welcoming , friendly and kind. When she realised I had an knee injury she moved us to a ground floor room. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to me. She is very helpful and full of practical advice about how to stay safe in the city. The kitchen was very well equipped and we both felt very at home there. It felt like being in your own kitchen I would highly recommend The Revolution Hostal.

Not many restaurants around the area but easy taxi ride away (wouldn’t walk around the area late at night)

Comfy rooms, tv room, good breakfast included, walking distance to the city centre and most of all Sandra the host was exceptionally friendly and provided good advice about all things Quito, and always up for a chat.

Would've loved the option for an in-house laundry service, but there's a lavandería nearby as a good alternative

Felt very at home here, especially as I ended up being pretty sick for most of my stay. Booked for three more nights meaning I spent 8 nights in total and it was a wonderful base for exploring Quito when I managed to get out. Great breakfast, free water refills, and Sandra and the volunteers were the best.

Breakfast was superb, beds were cozy, sandra was super helpful. After we checked out, we could even stay in the hostel until 11 PM because we had to take a night bus.

My third time at this hostel and definitely not the last one. I always feel like coming back home! Great dorms, a kitchen with all the gadgets you can wish for (even knifes are sharp), filtered water, clean bathrooms, lovely owner and lots of info about what to do in the city. This time I also used a driver they recommended and he was super nice 🙂

I've never had a most confortable bed than this one! The building, rooms and furnitures in general are super clean with a beautiful charm. The breakfast is perfectly good and the ambiance of being all the group in the morning is better than expected. The calm terrace view is a must in a coty like Quito. Also, Sandra the host is just so nice. Thank youuu for your smile and generosity!✨

Well located, good price, the perfect place to meet nice people. More warm and intimate than other bigger hostels. You can buy tours and the owner Sandra can help you with everything you need, recommandations, informations. Great kitchen to cook your own meals and breakfast is included in the price. The bed sheets smell so good and the place is very clean.

I booked my second stay at this hostel after finishing my trip to Ecuador. The experience was beyond amazing! More than a hostel, it felt like a coliving. The volunteers were really cool people. They kept everything clean and neat, and good vibes were everywhere. Love this hostel! There is plenty of space to keep your groceries in the kitchen and cook your own food if you don't feel like eating out. There is always drinking water in the filter; the internet is 400 Mbps which is great -coming from a Digital Nomad-. There is a terrace where you do your workouts, smoke if you do, and have a chill afternoon looking at the city and the mountains! The breakfast is really good, and you will have an overall great experience here. The value for your money is great!

Its a great hostel: small but cozy, nice people and its clean, showers are also very good and the breakfast is very nice too. Its even a good hostel to be sick in because the toilets are close and there is a few.
