Very friendly and welcoming owners. The property it is very nice, clean and well equipped. The new bar area is a great place to spend the evenings, enjoying VERY good value drinks during happy hour - great place for meeting people both locals and other travellers. Would very highly recommend to anyone visiting Mompiche (even if you don’t stay there you should visit the bar for happy hour!)

A very beautifull place with clean and large dorms, a nice garden, cosey kitchen and many hangout spots. Very warm welcome and easy to meet other people. It felt like home.

Only thing was the bathroom in the 8 bed dorm. It never felt clean and water quality isn't great because of lots of minerals in the water. But I think this the case throughout the town.

We loved the common areas and yoga deck. Nout sorted out us being able to watch the Six Nations rugby (he has every sports channel under the sun). The kitchen is lovely and semi-outside. We really liked how friendly and social it was during breakfast and dinner. Yolanda, Nout and the boys were such great company!

There is no hot water, just to be aware. Not a problem in the heat, but may be in colder periods.

The yoga/chill out area was fabulous and the people, both owners and volunteers as well as other guests were friendly. The bar is also cute and brings people from across town for happy hour, nice drinks and music too.

Mudhouse is absolutely the best hostel in Mompiche. The owners are so friendly and the hostel has everything you need. A lovely kitchen, great showers and the best WiFi in town. I had a wonderful time here!

The property has the most beautiful ambiance set in the perfect location in Mompiche—on the Main Street a short walk to the malecón, but far enough from the bars for some peace and quiet.

Mindy is a great host. There is a cosy atmosphere in the hostel and everything is there what you need. There is a lot of space to chill out, well equipped kitchen to cook, and there is also a restaurant at the hostel with delicious food. The beach is a short walk. I would highly recommend this hostel!

The hostal was super beautiful with huts that look very natural. The location was very central and close to the beach but not right next to a bar etc. There is a tapas bar right in the hostel complex with very tasty food and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend the hostel and think it's the best I've seen in Mompiche

Chill place, good people e so much love for the details. Bad are super confy! There is a kitchen good equipped, a nice yoga-relax patio e a goody lounge bar (open the evening 16 pm) where you can eat fresh and homemade food! We book for only 2 day but we are still here.

The owner of the hostel was one of the friendliest people I ever met! She took good care of me and from the first second I got here I felt safe and comfortable. The hostel is a clean and it is filled with flowers and love. If I go to Mompiche again I’ll stay at the Mudhouse again.

Lovely hostel, lovely owners, lovely pets! All in all a lovely atmosphere. It’s a beautiful hostel surrounded with a lot of green. If you are lucky you can taste fruits which grow in the property and watch the birds eating bananas. The hostel is just around the corner of the local supermarket, restaurants and the beach! The cabañas are build in a ecological and traditional way what gives a nice touch with it and completes the perfect experience.

Great and very kind host, location good, hostel is beautiful and good vibes. fresh fruits from the tree and hammocks. The Cabin was spacious and had a nice balcony with a look out at mangroves. (not that many mosquitoes)

Pretty great overall.

Fantastic price to quality ratio. Also, Andres the owner is a super nice guy. Extremely accomodating and easy going. Shared facilities like communal kitchen are great. And the Yoga deck is awesome. Gardens are super nice, with plenty of fruit you can just pick up from the trees.
