The outlets werent the best placed and there were none that would easily reach the bed. The area can be noisy at night, but it makes sense since its a central location. You do have to be in the hostal by 12 since there are no keys to the front door given out. The area isnt the sfesr after dark so it is probably for the best.

The workers were very kind and communicative. The room itself was small but exactly what I needed. Ir was clean and had a nice view to the plaza.

The bathroom was a different room but in the same space (its walls went about halfway to the ceiling) so there was not enough privacy in there, the smell got out, and there was some mold on the ceiling.

Location was good, right in the downtown area. Breakfast was good as well.

Breakfast very basic. Rooms are very small and quite old, while poorly equipped. One toilet and shower in a room for the whole floor. Both not too clean.

One staff member very nice, the other a little weird, but both trying to be helpful. House itself has character and might be considered beautiful.

Breakfast service is too late. (Not practical when you have a long trip and need to leave early) Taxi cannot park conveniently in front of the hotel. (A few times the taxi waited a bit further away past the arch. If they come in front of the hotel, police asks them to move off.) There is no lift for the luggage (but the reception person can help to get the luggage upstairs.) The patio outside is lovely but not tidy. ''Ladies'' hanging around on the steps close to the hotel and that creates an unpleasant atmosphere in the evening for a few hours. (But they do not come in this hotel.)

It is not far from La Ronda and the Cathedral is beautiful to visit. Local bus/tramway is not too far. Close to several museums also, Safe hotel to stay in. Luggage safely stored. (Two storage places available.) Laundry service available (the clothes are weighed and the cost is per pound.) There are restaurants and shops close by. And it is easy to catch a taxi if you know in which direction you need to go. Good information available at the reception and practical items are there for loan or purchase (chargers, water bottles etc).

The rooms could do with a little freshen up, but for this price, you can’t complain. The noise at the front of the building in the early evening- but you soon get used to it and it does quieten down later at night.

The staff are amazingly kind, helpful and friendly, and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. They even sorted our 5am taxi and got up to unlock the door for us. The free breakfast is simple but good (juice, coffee, eggs and croissant) but it’s close to restaurants if you’d prefer. The garden was a nice touch on a sunny day. The rooms are comfortable (with very hot showers too) and are cleaned everyday on request.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff/management. Offered us a choice of room. Good, hot shower. Excellent value for money. Lovely, characterful heritage building. Looked after our bags and organised a taxi when we left for the airport.

We renewed and prolonged our stay at the Hostal because we enjoyed it so much! The 2 person rooms with private bathroom are comfortable, good bed, great shower. Clean towels and shampoo etc every day. Nice breakfast. Located very centrally, the historical centre is around the corner. The staff is very kind, warm and welcoming--speaks Spanish and English. Do bring your ear plugs, it is an old colonial building with quite some traffic noise at night.
