Our stay at La Casa de Manuel was perfect. This boutique hotel is unique with three floors and a rooftop terrace carefully curated with furniture and art. The room is a great size with its in-room sitting area, and it has a very comfortable bed. The city traffic quiets down around 11:00 p.m. for a good night's sleep. There is an additional seating area right outside the room and we were encouraged to use the rooftop terrace for relaxing and for attending hotel planned events such as movie nights with discussion, a concert, and a comedy show. All staff were friendly and helpful, but Cristhian is the absolute best concierge we have ever had. He greeted us warmly, helped us navigate the city, suggested great dinner spots and went above and beyond all expectations by anticipating our needs. We highly recommend La Casa de Manuel, Casa Boutique.

Staff was not on duty for 24 hours, but it wasn't a big issue since normally I am in for the night early. Minor thing really.

Cristian is one of the best hosts I have ever had! Even from before starting our trip he mande sure to give us an amazing experience. Besides from that, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend a couple of days in Loja.

There was loud music playing upstairs until 10:40 PM. Some functions. Staff apologized, but beware of Thursday night functions.

There was no hot water the 2nd morning iwas there and noone around to try to fix it. Breakfast is a little weird. Really nice little fruit bowl, and fruit batido, then like a really depressing looking plate of eggs and bread and tiny hot dog things. Super weird.

Really tastefully decorated, super comfortable bed, Chris at reception super friendly. It's a nice place. Pet friendly.

The bathroom can have more surface for putting on personal care items. People chatting in the lobby gives a big echo and is heard in the room.

Lumpy pillows and door too stiff to the bathroom so was very noisy when you closed it (not great at night). Also the bed squeaked a lot.

I was the only person staying in the whole building- it was a bit strange to start with and then I felt like a Queen.

This place is beautiful, I don’t think the photos do it justice. it’s spotlessly clean, the showers are fabulous. lots of lovely spots to read a book or work and a lovely roof terrace. Christian was beyond helpful and the wee restaurant next door does great sandwiches and the best lemonade I’ve ever had.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Casa de Manuel! The place is very beautiful, has a nice terrace and lots of natural light. The breakfast was great and I had several options to choose from. The stuff was super friendly and shared lots of tips about where to go around. If you're coming there for leisure or for work, you definitely won't regret it - the wifi connection is great and there's a co-working area downstairs. Besides, the place is located in 3 mins walk from the center, so it's very convenient.
