Chakana was a wonderful hotel. The staff were super friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms so spacious and well designed. The bathrooms were great too. They also stored our luggage for two weeks while we traveled around Ecuador. Would definitely stay three again.

Lovely little hotel very close to the historic old town. The room was spacious and beautiful and the bed very comfortable. On the last day we had to check out very early and they opened earlier to prepare the breakfast especially for us - this was a very nice touch and we appreciate it a lot. The facilities are very beautiful, especially the rooftop terrace with a view. We will repeat for sure when we are back in Quito.

I can highly recommend this hotel when you are in Quito if you want to stay in local exceptional hotel aiming to touch a bit of culture, local people, high hospitality and very delicious food. Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling, answering your questions and providing any help you need. Food at the restaurant is very delicious, prepared with love and very fresh. Wi-fi connection is also very good. Metro is very close and convenient to you.

The staff was amazing, so kind and helpful. The building decorations are also creative with strong andean influence, the included breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner there once and dinner was great too. My favorite hotel during my 3,5 weeks in Ecuador. I will miss Luna!

I loved this hotel. Has good energy and vibes. Staff was superb and helpful. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and has great WiFi. And the restaurant was fabulous. A little pricey, but so worth it. It is also close to the church.

Location is Great! Short walking distance to Old Town Quito! Restaurant on ground level AMAZING FOOD LOOKS AND TASTE!!! Chef and Server Unique and Amazing Experience!! SPECIAL THANKS TO MONIQUE! I was caught off guard 1st time in Ecuador and I know VERY little Spanish!! OPPS!! MONIQUE SAVED THE DAY!! Also a EXTRA THANKS to the CHEF! SORRY I FORGOT YOUR NAME!! BUT he was able to track down a Ecuadorian Sucre Banknote for my collection!! THANK YOU CHEF!! IF AND WHEN I GET BACK TO QUITO IT WILL BE THE CHAKANA B&B HOTEL CENTRO!!! THANKS!! OH YAH! Great option to stay in Quito if you are looking for a quiet place and near to the old town. Moreover, there is a subway station around 200 m from Chakana Hotel and then you can go easily to other parts of the city. The hotel is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The staff is friendly, helpful and always available to share knowledge about the Andean and Ecuatorian culture.

The staff is warm and efficient. Ivonne went the extra mile and sent me on my way (4:00am) with a sandwich and a cup of coffee. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The attached restaurant is worthy of a Michelin star!

The room we had was on a noisy corner so we heard traffic most of the time. They do have interior rooms, but we weren't aware of that until we were there. If you have mobility issues, note that there are many stairs.

Beautifully decorated in a way that honors the indigenous culture. The Isabella and Awki were fabulous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh. The hotel arranged for an airport pickup and a tour which was very helpful.
