best view of the “Cúpulas” in Cuenca. The room was 10/10. Very clean and the staff was very helpful

Light sleepers may struggle here as the floors are squeaky and the traffic is definitely to be heard. However, I assume traffic will be wild everywhere in the center of Cuenca - and it really gets pretty quite between 10pm and 6am. So enough time to sleep and you are up early to explore the area and national parks :)

Very nice place & very hospitable staff! The location is super central, the rooms modern and clean, and the breakfast is also great. Would definitely recommend this place as it offers very good value for money!

The hot water in the shower was a problem and we just arrived in a cold day.

A strategic location, a few meters from the New Basilica and just in front of the city letters “CUENCA”. Close to a tram station and close to Calderon Park. Beautiful and traditional building, lovely balconies and amazing decoration! The staff really helpful and kind.

The views of the cathedral in the bedroom window were magical. Comfortable beds and great shower with rain head. It's definitely my go to hotel in Cuenca.

Just a few minor details: 1. Some of the linen and towels had slight stains. I'm sure people on vacation are messy but would be great for hotel to keep an eye on this. Usually hotels donate towels and linens to people or animal shelters once stained or worn out. 2. The room cleaning was a little inconsistent and on one of our last days it was never cleaned. Wish there were signs okay-ing room cleaning. 3. No extra toilet paper in the bathroom :( 4. There was an event there on a Friday night and it was very loud. This didn't disrupt our sleep whatsoever but be warned. The windows do a great job at keeping out outdoor noise but the event was at the hotel itself. The smell of cigarettes lingered in our room and you could hear laughter and the music very clearly. If you're the type that is sensitive to noise, you may be unhappy for a night.

We stayed here for almost two weeks and it was great. We ended up extending our stay after 8 nights and they made it very easy. The location is perfect! Just a block away from the cathedral and near plenty of places to eat. The area felt very safe. Our family used up three of the rooms available and all of them were beautiful. Our first room had the corner view (2 widows facing different directions) which had what seemed like the best views of all the rooms. Some of my bridal pictures were taken on that balcony and they have a STUNNING view of the cathedral. There were some messes made on our wedding day with all the craziness and the staff was very kind and helpful. The staff was fantastic from day one, they were welcoming and very helpful. We stayed out late on multiple occasions and they opened the door quickly and with a smile.

Booking.com said the price for 2 rooms with 2 people each room was $160. I got an email confirming this. When we arrived the management said that was not correct and it was $25 each for two more people. So we had to pay $50 more than $160. The manager said it was a problem with booking.com. However we had been in contact via WhatsApp and if this had been an issue before , a good manager would have confirmed the price. They seemed to want to come up with extra costs .

its a good location for seeing the Catherdral domes your window and they are lit up blue for most of the night. The rooms look over a plaza with a fountain and craft booths below.

Firstly, we were charged more by the hotel reception at checkin, than agreed to when booked with Booking (wasn’t an FX issue). Despite showing the Booking confirmation, we were forced to pay more (we have separately raised this with Booking.com). Secondly, the rooms overlook an internal courtyard where the reception is located and where people congregated to drink. The voices and laughs could be heard in our room when we were trying to sleep.
