Owners speak excellent english and are willing to help with anything you need. Rooms are very clean with daily housekeeping. Great location just up the main street. I didn't want to leave!

One of the walls was a fly screen (likely due to the hot climate) so noise can be an issue as all rooms face onto the main courtyard. We also had a rooster wake us up each day at 4.30am. Still recommend tbe hostel but bring earplugs!

Smooth check in, huge room and bathroom, very clean with daily tidy and fresh towels. Kitchen is reasonably equipped and the hostel is well located 10 min from the ferry pier and restaurants.

The staff were not around all the time and we couldn’t find them when trying to check out and leave our bags somewhere safe for the day The music from the restaurant next door was quite loud, but did end at a reasonable time at night.

While the restaurant next door is great during open hours, the staff can be quite loud after closing, between 12am-1am, depending which room you have, you may hear this. We stayed in 2 rooms, the first probably needs the shower head cleaning, but that's all really, the second bigger room upstairs was very nice (although closer to the restaurant).

Great location for a good price. Friendly staff. The aircon was decent enough to keep the room cool. The bed is huge, as it is two small double beds put together, and you don't notice any gap in the middle. Next door to one of the best restaurants in town and close to everything else, including the best beach in Puerto Ayora, playa de la estación. Decent kitchen with plenty of seating, and free drinking water. Plus you can leave your bags in the hostel after checkout.

Location is great. Staff/owners are friendly and very helpful and interesting to talk to with. The rooms clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities are good. We met some other nice people travelling through the Galapagos and South America. Great place to stay!!

The number of electronic outelets can be increased. The plumbing of the shower might have some problems. But given the price of the hostel, I have no complaints.

Everything is great. The owner and his brother are very helpful. It could be further improved, but the price may change. They have tour services on site.

Rooms very spacious and well decorated, we had the hammerhead room. Aircon and wifi worked perfectly. Hot water in the shower. Communal kitchen was well equipped and clean. Close to all the action. Daniel has all the information you will ever need about Galapagos plus more and has amazing stories to tell. Was a joy to stay here.

There was an issue with the water system while I was there—but it effected the whole block and was not the fault of the owners.

The rooms we used were simple but comfortable and had everything we needed. Each room had a wonderful and different painting on the wall. The yard was landscaped and there was an opportunity to relax in hammocks.

In the morning there was too much noise outside.

We can recommend this acommodation. The room was big, perfectly clean (every day was cleaned), the bed was comfortable, the location was very good near center. Our host Daniel was very helpful, very kind person, he explained everything to us perfectly, he spoke in Eglish very well (and he gave us a tip where to buy T-shirt with pelican :)). Our stay was the best from whole Galapagos and we hope that we will come back.

The location is very convenient, close to all the good restaurants, shops and a short walk to the pier where you can take a water taxi. Room cleaning is daily and new towels are provided everyday. You can book tours from San Cruz with one of the owners, Daniel. He has great recommendations if you tell him what you would like to see/do. If you need a taxi, they will help you find a reliable driver. The property has a beautiful garden and a kitchen. Drinking water is provided. We really enjoyed our stay.
