The people that were next to not even right next to us played loud music at 12 o’clock at night past 12 and it was very difficult to go to sleep with people playing different music at all times there should be a Noise level check or a time when Music could be turned down also the dogs next-door Are horrific. They block all night long all morning long just constantly. Bring earplugs.

It was fun to stay in a geodesic dome, as I have read about them. It was quite spacious and the shared bathrooms and showers were very clean. They helped me get a taxi to my next location. They even had a small library of books, so I was able to swap out a new book to read!

The tent with the mattress was quite small and uncomfortable. For a few dollars more, there are nicer and more comfortable options in Puerto Lopez.

The staff were very helpful and there was the option of a pool and a bar which was nice.

The cleaning is already timely, but the mosquitoes and ants need to be cleaned further……Maybe more and stronger insecticides are needed.

The staff is extremely welcoming and responsive, with air conditioning in the large tent and a quiet location，hope to comeback again next time!

Ángel made us feel welcome straight away and was very helpful during our stay eg. He booked our bus back to Quito for us and a taxi to the bus station. Our dome was spacious with super cold air con! The hostel had a friendly vibe and there were lots of different social spaces around the hostel, and the pool was nice and clean. Also conveniently located near the beach and restaurants.

Simple but effective! Comfy beds, pretty well equipped kitchen, plenty of hammocks and a pool for hot days! Hot showers too which is always a bonus!

It gets super hot in the tents during the day, despite the airconditioning. I was sick and couldn't get out of bed and it was an extra tough day with the extreme heat in the tent.

I underestimated the distance to Center of Puerto Lopez, it’s a 15min walk. There was some ants that got into my room, and also a small leakage when it rained a lot.

Everything was great, AC, clean kitchen, free water, good showers.

Maybe the air conditioning unit in the 10 bed dorm should be managed by the manager. Everyone has a different opinion of how cold it should be and it was often set for freezing!!

the bathrooms (mainly the showers) were not very clean. the first couple of days when we were there they were, but then I don’t know what happened.

what a great place! we stayed in a dome and it was very comfortable. the air conditioning was amazing, and our place was in a great location right across from the beach. it was affordable and the pool was an excellent touch. staff was very helpful. one of my favorite places that I’ve stayed in Ecuador!
