Excellent attention and disposition of the staff, I wish I stayed longer!!. They waited until the last minute of my stay to allow me to pay with credit card (the system was not working before). Also the location is comfortable and close to everything. Great recommendations too.

We loved staying here. Large and clean room with a/c and good wifi. Reading the previous commenter we were worried for wifi but it was perfect. The breakfast was the most varied one compared to the other accommodations we had in islands (granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, omelette with herbs, a piece of cheese or ham, toast or croissant + instant coffee, tea, fresh juice. There are many restaurants and mini-markets around and it’s very close to the “center” :) The owner, as well as his wife and the other staff were really nice and helpful. They helped us with an iron as ours wouldn’t work properly with the plug converter. thank you for everything!

It’s not a 24h reception place, so if you need smth like an iron or a hairdryer, it’s better to ask when you see staff. Otherwise you might end up not finding anyone around.

The room is old, but kept clean very well. Ac worked well, hot water running well too. The most incredible staff, a young woman who cooks breakfast and cleans rooms is soooo sweet. Breakfast was amazing: eggs, plantain, cheese, fruits and fresh juice. Super fulfilling and nicely cooked. The lady who runs the place was very nice, explaining about the places and helping with the tours.

Very friendly and helpful staff who create a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Delicious breakfasts that vary every day but typically are with fresh fruits and juice, granola or muesli, yogurt, eggs, and brioche or bread. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good WiFi (for Isabela). Good location next to minimarkets, restaurants etc. Five mins walk to the beach.

The location is a bit far from the center but the whole area is not that big so it's not that big a deal.

I had a really good stay at Sandrita. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the air-conditioner was good. There was free cold water at the reception and it was no problem to get a vegan breakfast. The woman who runs the hostel was very helpful and made breakfast at the time of your convenience.

Sometimes disturbing smell from the canal in the bathroom. But I think it's generally hard to avoid on Isabela island. Open window with mosquito net for fresh air helped a lot.

isla isabella is far off and the internet in general is on that island very limited. keep that in mind. don’t blame it on the wifi! so do your online stuff before (!) heading to beautiful isla Isabella.

Definitely the best place to stay in Puerto Villamil. One of the nicest helpful hosts that we’ve experienced and we travel full time for 7 years. clean, well located and the best hospitality. Book it and arrange your tours directly thru the host as she can get you the best prices and coordinate it all.

Friendly stuff, nice, big room. Nice terrace on the upper floor. Good and big breakfast. Location in the middle of Villamil, ca. 5 min to the beach and close to restaurants, shops, etc.
