We liked everything, bed and pillows were good, shower was great, aircon is clean and silent, room was clean, location is just 5 mins away from main square, and a very friendly owner who helped us with everything, from taxis to booking guides.

There was not internet in the rooms. Only in reception. Receptionist said that there is a problem in the island. But other receptionist told us that modem for rooms is broken.

Hotel StarFish was wonderful. It was clean and in a convenient location close to everything. Carlos was amazing. He answered our many questions and helped us book a tour and a ferry. The bed was comfortable, there was nice hot water as well as a strong AC.

Carlos, the host, was super helpful. Also, this was the cleanest place we stayed at on the Galapagos and it was because of his efforts in cleaning. This guy worked so hard, he needs a raise.

The receptionist, Carlos, was phenomenal! Friendly, smiling, laughing. A real joy to be around! He helped to organize my tours which were same or less price than agencies. He would let me know when taxis arrived, and make sure I had water, sunscreen , hat, etc. and help me into tall taxi bus! He is super kind, caring and professional. I had allergies or cold and he gave me a packet of Syngrapal - similar to tylenol cold/ cough. He went over and beyond. I speak very little Spanish but enough for us to communicate and use translator - which helped me learn more. The hotel is very modern, comfortable and garden is relaxing. I was solo. The island is super safe and everyone knows everyone. ( and they will all know you in a couple days!) Walk to beach and restaurants was 3-5 min . The A/C is great, has hot water but I didn’t need it, hangers, comfy bed and pillows, Front Gate, Garden area w tables chairs for meals, filtered water in lobby avail 24 hrs, etc

Nothing the hotel can do anything for, but there is a street dog barking a lot at night. That can happen everywhere.

Our best hotel in the Galapagos Islands and during our South America trip. Everything is renovated, new and modern. The rooms are attractive, very clean and the daily room service is excellent. Finally a hotel that thinks practically when furnishing the rooms. There is enough storage space and shelves as well as possibilities to hang things up and dry them. The shower has perfectly hot water with high water pressure. The owner and all the staff is very friendly and helpful 24/7, you feel welcome all the time. The location of the hotel is very good, a few minutes to the beach, great restaurants and bakeries within a minute's walk.

The staff Carlos was very kind and attentive to us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was good too! I sometimes didn't want to go out because the room was so comfortable with a nice AC! Comparing to what we paid in other islands, this place was definitely worth every penny.

The hotel is in a good location - walking distance to everything. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and there was daily room service. The room was big and there was a private patio with a sofa looking onto a courtyard. A big clothes drying rack was provided which was very helpful. Communication with the host before the stay was very good. The WiFi was good. The shower was hot. There was AC in the room. There was a hose to wash off beach sand before going in the rooms which was a nice option. There was a common fridge and electric kettle to use and filtered water. Segundo the host was so friendly and accommodating. We had an afternoon ferry and he offered for us to keep the room until we had to leave for the ferry which was very helpful. Definitely recommend this property.

Very new property, with big rooms, very comfy beds and AC (a must depending on the time of the year!). Away from the beach & centre, but only a 15 mins stroll to either and great value for money. Does not do breakfast but there's plenty of places close by, including a bakery right across the road with super extensive opening hours. All activities in Isabela have exactly the same price no matter who you contract them with (they seemed to have arranged it like this purposefully), so arranging them through the hotel is quite convenient.

Very clean. Very new. Very good location. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. Personal drying rack outside the room for wet clothes. Room smelled good.

Asked for your recommendations, and signed up for a Sierra Negra tour. It ended up being on a bus of 20 or so, with uninterested guides. Better off making your bookings elsewhere.
