The rooms are either stuffy without air or are super noisy.

They let us switch rooms because the traffic was so loud and the windows do not really close. Breakfast was good.

They have refused to give me an invoice, I will not be able to get the tax return on the stay and a tour they sold me. It was too noisy.

We booked a room and airport shuttle with Suites Experience By Hotel David. They sent us to their downgraded “sister” Hotel David in another end of town. We arrived at 11pm with no other option we paid the additional cost they requested. Once checked in we were given access to the room. This room was not comparable to the one we paid for, it had no balcony, no window/natural light, no wifi, no power and no hot water.The hotel will not give us a refund even after multiple requests. We feel completely deceived and unsafe because of the deception from both booking.com and the hotel.

They didn't send a car to airport like we agreed. They gave our room to someone else. Rooms were extremely small, stuffy, noisy, with no windows or fans. Made me pay the entire bill upfront and refused to issue a refund when we decided we could not stay there.

Warning to fellow travelers: steer clear of suites experience by hotel David. It's a total scam! The pictures online are a complete lie, and the reality is a nightmare. The rooms are horrible, amenities are nonexistent, and the staff couldn't care less about your experience. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to stay.

This is really s place not to visit! Either you have a room with a,window facing the traffic outside or you will get a small cell without windows but you will still be bothered about the noise) The staff is a joke

Located next to a road with heavy traffic going uphill=noisy!! Small and untidy rooms. Unfriendy staff who have no intention to help. The breakfast is hardly worth calling a breakfast. We decided to cancel the rest of our intended visit. Don't go here!!!

Very poor place compared to the pictures. The room was literally just a bed and a tiny table. No place for any luggage or clothes. Plus the window opens towards the inner yard so you can hear every single person passing by.

The reception people very nice and helped us with small enquiries. Discount price was a plus, too.

Rooms without windows towards street/city/anything. Huge windows (without sufficient cover) are looking at the inner stairwell. The rooms are huge but empty, with nothing inside except two beds and a tiny table. No nightstands, no wardrobe/closet, nothing. You feel like you are in an empty garage and you have to sleep there. You pay upon arrival, but the staff did not have 7 dollars to return our change so they did it the next morning. At our arrival, they told us they could prepare us an early breakfast for the next day - in the morning, the other guy was clueless about that agreement, but at least he had our 7 dollars.

The Noise is unbearable! I'm used to this kind of place but wasn't ready for this kind of noise, earplugs aren't nearly enough. AVOID any room towards the street, i.e. room 5 and 6. The windows have large air gaps, right on one of the busiest roads, on a uphill on a country where most trucks and bikes run without muffler's, non stop all night long.

Fantastic location, you can do a lot of sightseeing and wandering from the hotel. Huge room, but all empty space other than a small table, would be great to have a shelve or wordrobe. Good breakfast with fresh juice, fruits, coffee, and eggs. Staff is very friendly.

”Own suite” was a standard room (with low standards). Staff didin’t speak any English and no credit card was accepted even though it was separetaly mentioned. Room was very noicy due to street traffic.

We had a room facing the (very busy) street and the balcony doors didn’t close right so the noise was LOUD!! We were super tired so we could fall asleep regardless, however we woke up at 4 every morning. (We didn’t ask for a change of rooms because we didn’t want to carry all our stuff somewhere else again) The room is big but misses some furniture: for example there isn’t a closet to put your stuff. There is a small clothing rack that fell apart in the middle of the night. The bathroom is super super small compared to the enormous room. Therefore misses some comfort.

Location is super! Right at the historical centre of Quito. The room was very big and spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfy. Staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was basic but absolutely fine. Wifi very good!!

Our room was at the front of the hotel. We didn't get any sleep because of traffic noise and all the tooting form cars, trucks and motorbikes. It's a busy city so expected some noise but this was extreme. The windows aren't sealed so they won't protect you form any sound. We were booked to stay two nights but we only managed one. We always travel with open minds and ready for anything but there is no way they should book out these rooms without a warning. There was also no bath mats or hand towels so the small bathroom floor was always wet.

The room was a bit warm - would recommend a fan or something for some airflow. But definitely was not unbearable, still comfortable.

Clean, comfortable, safe, great breakfast included & liked that there was Netflix hookup in the room. The shower was great too.
