Our room was a bit on the small side. But our view made up for it. Our friends stayed there as well and their room was much bigger.

This hotel is simply gorgeous and unique in every best way possible. The architecture is stunning…from the beautiful stairways, to the hallways with gorgeous art throughout the “old house” to the courtyard with the fountains. It’s hard to put into words how amazing this place is. The breakfast was delicious…presented beautifully and yummy. We also had an incredibly good dinner there. The staff is over the top helpful, professional and friendly. The hot tub is an added bonus in a peaceful spot in the backyard courtyard. Truly enjoyed it. And the views….STUNNING, especially at night when you can see the many churches lit up bright. I can’t say enough good things about this property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was amazing. Staff were top notch both at reception (David)and at the restaurant (Chris). The view was just unbelievable,morning and night time. Location was amazing close to the centre. The breakfast was served so beautifully and the dinner was so great too. The night view of Quito took our breath away. I got laundry done too and it was reasonably priced. The hotel organised pick up and drop which were both excellent too. If I ever went to Quito again ,I would stay here without a doubt. Brilliant.

Both our room and the restaurant have the best view of old town Quito. Very kind staff at front desk and in the restaurant. Great food for dinner and just about the best hotel breakfast ever. Thank you for organising the transport from the airport - most welcome after a long journey.

Hills are challenging with altitude effects. Uber is a must.

Our host, James, went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. The restaurant staff were also terrific as was the food. We had excellent dinner of sea bass, ceviche, etc. Best breakfast with amazing breads and croissants, omelettes, etc. Room well apportioned with excellent bed and shower.

Although walking distance to the historic center, the hill on the way back up is brutal. A taxi easily solves this, though.

It's up a big big hill. We walked into town and took a taxi back which was easy enough to facilitate!

Excellent hotel, the staff greeted us and were very accommodating even though we arrived very late. We couldn't get up to the hotel at first because of a road closure so went for dinner and came back. The staff upgraded our room because of the inconvenience getting to the hotel and that was totally unaccepted and very much appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic and the view over Quito was spectacular.
