The only thing I could improve in this place is the mattress, to be a bit more comfortable and I'd install a heater in the bathroom, as it's very cold in the winter time. But it wasn't a problem for us, as all the other things were amazing.

The place is well equipped, there is a nice Kitchen, the things are organized with your room number, which is very helpful. A good space to feel relaxing. The onwer was very helpful and very nice to us.

Amazing place , we loved the rooftop chilling area where we could see beautiful views. Very quiet and peaceful place, friendly neighbours and host ! Great price for that location, almost in the city center, big shops close by and the old town is 30 min walk away! Highly recommend, comfortable and stylish rooms and the host was very helpful giving us great sightseeing recommendations!

Room was really cozy. The lady over there offered me a better room then what I’ve booked without any extra charges. Very nice common sitting area. Bathroom has not extra heating so have to open the door so the heating come from room heater but it was not a big issue. Everything was perfect.

Love the design of my room and the shared areas. The bed is comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, and sitting area beautifully done up like a garden. Both bath and hand towels are available. Once you figure out the way to the old town and main train station (Baltic Jamm), the location is ideal. I only realised on my last night of stay, that another train stop is nearer to the lodging. So sorry, I did not take note of the name of the station. When booking Bolt, check that the lodging's address is correct. I booked a Bolt car while sitting at the shared area of the lodging, but an incorrect pick up address was registered by the system. Well, it may be a one off situation. The Host is extremely gracious. She agreed to keep one piece of my luggage as the handle is broken. She even asked if I would like her to find out if it could be fixed. Such kindness. On my departure, as I was leaving very early in the morning, and had to lock up the main door, I was to drop the keys in the letter box (standard procedure is to leave them in the lock at the room door). Unfortunately, I was unable to do so (cannot find the opening to the letter box), which meant my keys were not returned at check out. When I messaged to apologise, the Host graciously responded that it was OK for me to return them when I collect my luggage. No fuss at all. I am thankful to the Host's kindness and graciousness.

We really enjoyed our stay at City Center Garden Calping. The decoration was lovely, it was clean and the perfect localisation for what I needed to see for my school project.

•The host doesn’t have a modern phone so she might take quite a while to see your messages so ask for check in instructions way before arriving, we were in luck that a couple who was staying also there helped us to know where to meet her. •The shower was not what expected, it was a bath with this “head shower” but quite small so it wasn’t easy to shower in there (even the host said we could use the shared shower, but hey, there’s a reason why we paid extra to have our own on suite bathroom -picture attached-). •It’s advertised as “in the city centre”, but it’s actually like 20 min walk from it.

Unique concept of being in a garden, but still we had our own space with enough comforts, the terrace and all the outdoors are super nice, despite the downs it was actually overall comfortable, warm in the room, kind host and easy check out.

To me personally (owning a camper van of 7.5m long) NOT a negative, but you have to know how to drive your camper van, for parking is tight.

There was no window in our room, but a good ventilation system, but i still missed the window to check the weather every morning :) bathroom was a bit uncomfortable to shower

A very special place with terrace garden with sitting and camping area. Plus a big cosy living room and a clean kitchen. The lady owner is particularly that you don't wash the kitchen plates n cups .. she insists to use the dishwasher. And minimum stay is 2 nights .. otherwise you can't book via booking.com

There is only one thing, but it didn't really bother us. Some people are just not people-people, but it's always a shame when people like that work in the hospitality business and are in charge of greeting guests and making them feel welcome and at ease. I'm sure that a person who is not good at that, could find more fulfilment working in a less client-facing role, and could employ someone else with great customer service skills to greet their clients.

It's humid, but it can't be helped I think. The mattress is too soft for my preference.

It's clean. It has all the amenities (dishes, hair dryer, towels, Italian coffee maker, stove, shampoo, ...). It's walking distance to old town. It's quiet. Private bathroom. It's decorated with care, cute drawings.
