How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Probably the only thing is that there is heater regulation but not A/C just a FAN which is very loud in a small room like the one I've booked

When Friday comes, the hotel is busier (as the city itself) and filled with much more people. There might be inappropriate belaviours amongst these new guests but, of course, the hotel and staff are not able to control this aspect and it is not their fault, it's the guests'.
We loved the helpfull staff and the rooms as well as the facilities provided. The kitchen is great if you like to have brakfast there and save a little money. We would add a toaster and a squeezer to the utensiles.

Way too hot in the room! Fan just circulated warm air. Also, noise from other guests till late. Call me old fashioned but sometimes you need a person around to keep things in order.
Easy friction-less check in. Great little room very clean and facilities fine for the amazing price. Cafe downstairs on site was good though it wasn't clear till after I could have got a discount as hotel guest.

Some construction around
Nice views of the cruise ships coming in, comfortable beds, and reasonable prices. This is a self-serve place so didn’t have contact with staff; however everything felt quite comfortable and premium.

We didn’t have any soap and shower gel available. It didn’t affect majority our impression of the hotel, we still liked it. Just something for staff to pay more attention.
Self-check in was convenient. The hotel is overall new and fresh with a modern design. The rooms could be a bit larger but overall they are just enough for a short stay 1-2 nights. Dogs are allowed! One of the best hotels in the harbor area if you need to stay a night before/after ferry.

I couldn’t use the onsite restaurant, mainly due to the opening hours (I think it closed at around 4pm).
It’s basic but that’s what I paid for. The room was very clean and had all I needed. I’m a lone female traveler and felt very safe here. The onsite restaurant looked nice, but I didn’t use it.

I missed only pleated curtains, to enjoy the full daylight but also more privacy. Blackout curtains were very effective. And the checkout machine did not accept my doorcard (same happened with some other guests). Please add some additional information, what to do then.
Super! Over all of my expectations. Everything was brand new, well equipped etc. I read before booking that some people complained about room size, but I did not see any problem - enough space for sleep, put away my belongings, do work and bathroom was big enough too. Specially considering that in hotel there were many smaller and bigger meetingrooms, kitchens, "living rooms", play-area, laundry rooms etc, also food and drink machines. As I travelled because of work, I felt like I am in a spacious modern office with my own private area :)

Great location, affordable price. Inspiring, clean, modern design of the hotel and hotel rooms in general. Free Internet for quick browsing of e.g. restaurants nearby in the common room (floor 3). Spacious common room for storing food in the fridge, purchasing coffee and enjoying our own breakfast in the morning. Small detail but I liked that the generic icons on the hotel doors (e.g. stairwell, hotel rooms) were super-understandable (even without any text), making it easier to navigate the hotel -> Bonus points to whoever designed this hotel.

The room temperature was too hot! It was almost 25C whereas the city was like 5C-10C. It was not possible to control it, only to heat up even more, also not possible to open windows. At least there was a fan which I could turn on and relieve for a while. But you don't expect to go north and sweat inside the room. I guess it's a habit of the city because other internal areas like restaurants and airport lounge were also super hot warmed (not 15-20C but 25-30C).
The hotel is very modern and there is no one working at the reception. You can enter any time and the checkin is automated, you just put the number at the machine and you get a card and you do the checkout yourself. Everything super clean and looked luxury. Very good price! Also breakfast was not buffet but gave us some options and they were super big portions and delicious! I had scrambled eggs with toast and salad and after that I was super full. Recommend it, but maybe not if you are not tech savvy as there is no one to help and you need to figure it our yourself.

I booked three rooms, two being single room and one double room. In the single room, there is almost no air ventilation. The window in the room can’t be opened and the only air flow is a floor fan. However, in the double room, the window could be opened a bit. I was there at the beginning of May and it was absolutely fine but I couldn’t imagine being in the single during the summer time.
The ease to check-in, bright light-filled design, guest kitchen, convenient location to the old town.

10€ for a single wash of clothes, really?!?? Plus whatever you have to pay to dry them after (I didn't even read this far!) Also, the room was so hot!! Fortunately they provided a fan, because the window didn't open. No restaurant close by. Only surrounded by construction sites.
Self check-in really easy. Cute and stylish property. Halfway between the ferry terminal and the old town. Shared kitchen, couches to chill.

It would be even better if there was an external window in the room.
