How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Being really picky, there were no complimentary refills of the coffee/tea in the room. Reception staff kindly provided refill sachets when asked.
I stayed for 3 nights with a friend and I would have happily stayed longer at the hotel. Spa facilities - Amazing, really clean, love the stone massage seats Breakfast - Superb, one of the highlights! Very fresh, huge range of options and lots of local options to try as well Room - Really clean and a lovely rainfall shower Location - Very central and such a safe destination.

I have nothing negative to report
When I'm traveling, I really appreciate staying in a modern hotel, preferably with breakfast included, so that I'm ready for a long day out exploring. Hestia Hotel Kentmanni is one of the better hotels I have stayed in, both in terms of the standard, staff, breakfast, and location. A good breakfast, with several different options, and a small but nice spa and fitness room. I definitely can recommend this hotel to those who are traveling to Tallinn.

Everything! Location is great. The room was cosy and clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was great! I wanted to book a parking place for my car, the hotel replied that the parking lot is full, but they kindly explained to me how I can find a parking place nearby. It was very useful. Thank you! Will definitely stay there next time!

- the bedding was a little dusty, there were also a few hairs on it - breakfast was nothing special, poor logistics with a large number of guests - an hour before the end of breakfast, no scrambled eggs, fruit or sweet pastries - very long waiting time for the staff to bring the missing breakfast products
- very cozy and large room - the spa is small but very nice - very comfortable beds (quite hard, probably not comfortable for everyone)

Parking is not free
Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and you can even get sparkling wine if you wanted. We had to check out at 5.30am and the woman receptionist got us breakfast boxes and arranged the taxi, she was very nice. The spa was great, not busy at all and comfortable.

The lamps in the bedroom were a bit too bright for the night time however nothing too bad and it was otherwise a lovely stay.
The hotel is in a good location, our room was clean and very spacious, with some lovely amenities. Breakfast was excellent.

- The place could be quieter, perhaps noise absorbing materials could be used to insulate rooms - There could be an actual pool for swimming and a bit deeper jacuzzi - The moment I booked via booking.com, I started getting a lot of SPAM from the hotel, to check-in online and other stuff - that's just annoying. One email is enough!
- Check-in and Check-out were quick and simple, staff was friendly and courteous - Breakfast selection was very good, also for vegetarians. Would be nice to have a way to keep the table when you go for a refill :) - The room was well lit, and the curtains were double layered, so when I close those at night, there is complete darkness

Some food on the breakfast buffet wasn't very fresh.

Best breakfast in town, excellent choice of food, drinks. 10+ sauna and SPA area is also a big + excellent walking distance from the shops and restaurants in Solaris.

Sauna didn’t heat well at the beginning and it takes long waiting time until it reaches decent temperature
We had penthouse room with sauna - it was good and spacious for 3 people. Huge terrace with great view of Tallinn. Self checkin and checkout with electronic key was a cool thing. We didn’t need to contact staff.

The breakfast is fantastic. it is comfortable and clean. The staff allows you to leave your bags at no extra charge after the checkout. Using Bolt (similar to Uber) is handy in Riga.
