Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The hotel exudes a certain cuteness that adds to its appeal, making it a unique and memorable stay. Despite its modest price, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast offered at the hotel. Not only was it great in variety, but the quality of the food was also impressive. It was a wonderful way to start the day, setting a positive tone for my adventures

SloveniaI had forgotten my sleeping mask, and as the conference was ending around 10-11 p.m., I usually went to sleep around midnight. The blackout curtains let blue light through, and they only suppressed 50% of the light. Sadly, the hotel staff did not have any spare sleep masks in reception to rent or buy. Yet they acted. They tried to investigate and improve, but nothing changed. Next, there was a buzzing noise from some system next door. It was a corner room next to some internal equipment, which sometimes at night started making a low brown buzzing noise, and the whole room echoed from that noise. That's kind of minor. The supply at the gym bar wasn't restocked during my stay, so after five days, I bought most of their protein items from the fridge; that's minor. Noise from next room could be heard if someone was running loud television until 11pm
One of the best hotels I've been to so far, with a great sauna and gym on the same floor, so it was easy to rest after the gym. The sauna was working up until 10pm. Room was great for price value, got free upgrade and high floor

Polanddivision of the room standard, so that the cheapest person has access to the swimming pool, gym and sauna only from 7-11 a.m. ... I haven't seen this before in hotels of this brand
Location, center and close to the Old Town, clean room, comfortable bed, room equipped with practically everything you need :) great view from the bedroom window (23rd floor). The hotel has a restaurant, café and bar. Friendly and helpful service.

Lovely hotel built back in the late 70s for the 1980 Olympics hence the name so design has soviet vibes, but has been kept up to date and is clean and welcoming, staff were great, a ten minute walk from the old town

LatviaAt the spa entrance, staff have no information about whether the visit to the spa has been paid for. We had everything included, but the employee asked for a separate payment. We managed to figure it out, of course, but it wasn’t very comfortable to do it in a robe near the elevator
Good level of reception staff, Good room service. SPA center until 22:00. City center and convenient parking. Super breakfast.

SwedenOur room was a bit cool and the wall heating didn't function so well but when we reported it they supplied us with a stand alone heater for our room - so all was well in the end.
The hotel was very conveniently located in Tallinn. The staff we very helpful and pleasant at all times. I would like to mention that we were there over Easter and the breakfast was EXTREMELY busy but the breakfast staff managed to keep everyone happy and kept the food and drink topped up at all times so the guests didn't have to wait around. Excellent service. I would also like to mention the young man at the Concierge desk (didn't get his name) who checked us in and checked us out - a very polite and helpful young man. The pool, gym and sauna area on the 26th floor was was well managed and very relaxing to use.

PhilippinesI requested for a late checkout of 1 pm (or additional 1 hour from the usual checkout time of 12 noon). The guy at the front desk, without checking on anything, flat out rejected my request.
The breakfast was good value for money although I wish they would have offered a bit more of the Estonian food. The room was comfortable, clean and good size. The treat for us was the swimming pool and the sauna. The hotel was a good walk from the Old Town of Tallinn. We also particularly loved the attentive staff at the restaurant, particularly Simon and Mattias.

LatviaBreakfast. Two coffee machines only in rush hours are not enough, there are queues to get coffee. Add situations when coffee machines need cleaning. Rooms. TV in the room - I couldn't figure out how to connect it to my phone/ computer to watch Netflix/YouTube, so I switched to available TV channels. It might well be that I was just lost in the instructions.
We booked two standard rooms for 6 people. The hotel gave us these rooms close together. The rooms were clean, and equipped with kettles, there was a selection of tea, coffee, and chocolate available. Rich breakfast and all the dishes were tasty. All demands were covered. The staff was friendly and assisted us with parking issues (the car was staying in hotel parking over the 24-hour time limit, but they took no additional charge). The sauna and pool for standard room booking were free in the morning (7 AM- 11 AM). For other room types, it would be free at any time. The sauna and pool area were clean, and not crowded. The view from the sauna and pool area to the city is amazing. The hotel is within short walking distance to the old town and shopping centres.
