How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It’s close to football field, so if you sleep lightly, better to have earplugs as children start to play early.
It’s not written anywhere, but they have a shared fridge that could be used - that helped us a lot. Overall very basic - but also all we needed.

Very cheap place, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Check out at 12pm which is very nice. Very good value for money.

That's not concerning the hostel itself, but if you do arrive by car, the smaller roads leading to the parking lot are..in need of a serious repair. So be careful when driving.
The location is superb, naturewise. As it is lodated in a forest-park area. It is quite away from the centre (but good access via buses), but that you probably already consider when choosing this place. Check in was easy, the corridors and room itself were clean and ascetic. Everything essential available.

We travel by car so location was perfect, there is a mall nearby and also old town isn’t far about 6km. We traveled for sports so the place was ideal, simple, clean and basic, good breakfast, coffee machine, eggs, toasts veggies, fruits etc.

Further from city centre, windows overlooking a football field which can get loud

The floor in the room and bathroom was dusty in the corners, under the bed and under the table. Inside the shower cabin the soap bottle was empty. Although there was soap near the sink, it was a bit uncomfortable.
A quite and cozy place on the outskirts of Tallinn, but it is accessible by car (10 min from the city center) and by public transport (20 min). The bus stop is close to the hotel. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

The bathroom didn't have ventilation.
A nice stay with a dormitory vibe. Had a water boiler and everything I needed. Cheap and good breakfast and possibility to visit the paid gym. It is located in the small forest, which is perfect for a stroll. Shop, few restaurants and public transport are not too far. A good price for the quality. Quiet and usually has someone in the reception.

It could be more equipped but we realised that we booked room rather in sport centre than in typical hotel so i won't complain ;)
The staff was very nice, room was quiet and clean. Very cheap breakfast (5euro) with buffet form.

I don't know. Maybe cleanliness. Fairy was disollved with water.
I liked that hotel it is so called neutral. They don't have lgtb sheet, the don't put ukrainian flag everywhere. Staff manage theree languages,they are polite for everyone. It is great thing. Reception ladys talk with You, give some advice etc. Room number 44 was huge, it is for 4 adults, we was with 2 children.and 2 adults Big bathroom, toilet...Hard to say about cleanless. We was so tyered. But seems to be clean place Breakfast for 5e -It is good price. I shall keep that hotel in my mind,,next Tallin trip and hotel is already marked...

We stayed in the room for three people. It was very nice with its own kitchenette and fridge, on the ground floor, and we could park right in front of it. I liked the location, a quiet neighbourhood outside central Tallinn, with good bus connections to the city centre.

No WiFi password can be found in the room, but staff messaged password when I requested. But Wifi was unusable slow, strange for Estonia. No one at reception after 22:57.
Nice simple rooms, clean and tidy, good sun shades, table and chair in the room. Easy to get in after 23:00. Parking right at the entrance.
