The hotel location seems far from the city center but don't worry about that. This place is perfect for a weekend getaway if you like to see Tartu and add some shopping to your weekend. The hotel is connected to Lõunakeskus shopping center, so you can go shopping in your slippers. But don't do that. And if you want to visit Tartu city center, there is a free bus from the shopping center every 30 minutes. The trip is about 10 minutes. The hotel is nice, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is tasty - all is on the right level.

Bed is too soft to me. Absolutely no room service during 3-night stay, even no emptying the trash bin. Liquid soap in the bottle was enough for only 1 day and nobody added it after that.

Staff at the reception was very kind and helping. Location right near shopping center. Comfortable and well planned room. Very much liked that they have ordinary hangers (with hooks), unlike in most of other hotels. Very good breakfast.

Clean rooms, good sauna, nice atmosphere, delicious breakfast, the best coffee, welcoming employees. Dogs allowed. Good parking infront of the hotel or in a parking house next. From inside is possible ti walk to shopping center.

Breakfast was nice. Although what I wanted wasn't available, I enjoyed the food. The room was clean, spaceous, comfortable. Everything you need is there. A small fridge, hair dryer, towels..

Room was very spacious, fully equipped. We had fridge in room, this was important for us. Beds very comftable. Room was quiet, we had great sleep. Breakfast was delicious. It's int the same building with shopping centre, so you can easily go to the movies, eating, shopping or skiting.

The only negative experience we had was while checking out. We had to do an early check out due to a family emergency. This caused us to leave 4 days earlier then our planned leave. While I went to check out was I confronted by 2 front desk workers who were kind of annoyed that we are checking out early. They took the room keys, ignored me for 2 minutes then looked at me annoyed and told me that the stay is not refundable ( which I expected). I told them that I know and was send away with a „that’s it bye“ This was in my personal opinion very unprofessional handled and 0% customer oriented.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be near the city but not 100%. The room is very cozy and clean. It is also directly connected to a big shopping mall with a cinema which is nice if you want to have a movie night. I can 100% recommend the Fii restaurant which is in the hotel as well the taste of the food is stunning with a great service. The service overall is also very nice and friendly.

I have stayed at Sophia before and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. But this time it was evident that our room had previously been occupied by rowdy quests. The sink was missing a piece and the bathtub had Red stripes on it. The carpet was also a bit dirty from some sort of a spillage. It had been cleaned well, but I just quess that the spots are difficult to remove.

The breakfast was amazing. The beds are very comfortable.

There was not much to do outside of the hotel, however the shopping centre provided different activities incl skating.

The room was nice and spacy, bed was excellent, enjoyed the coffee at a room. The dinner was extraordinary. The service was outstanding! I also liked that was possible visit shopping centre through the hotel.
