This hotel exceed my expectations. The bathroom was huge and contained a separate bath. The room was simultaneously large but cosy. The decor was exceptional. This was cheap for what we got.

Nothing really, except maybe in the Superior garden room we had, the bathroom shower (over bath) arrangement could be updated in line with the impeccable standards of this hotel.

The attention to detail is incredible, from the staff, the food, the cleanliness and the overall way the hotel is maintained. Great location in the centre of the old town. Use of the sauna is included too. The guest list is impressive, including now King Charles, Sting, Duran Duran and numerous government officials from around the world.

The place is fantastic and location as well, however if you have a car and luggage, pls call the hotel ahead and take guidance of how to reach as due to the entry restrictions in the old town you will be able to reach easily

We were in room 26, a so-called superior room. The bedroom was perfectly equipped and as beautiful as in the pictures. The bathroom, which includes the toilets, is small for a 5 stars hotel, but very convenient, at least for people who prefer a bathtub. But we heard each night nearby televisions, people speaking, and children passing in the corridor. We heard people walking upstairs, and letting things fall on the ground. The heating system was a little noisy, we cut it and it went well once the neighbors were quiet. As the bedroom door was not totally fitting, there was some light all night in the room coming from space all around the door, which is something I seldom saw in other hotels, even with less than 3 stars. Considering the price, it would be nice for the hotel's owners to work on the sound isolation of the bedrooms, other than providing earplugs (there were provided without us asking in the standard kit for the bedroom on our arrival). Also, they could consider changing the door in order to have better isolation from the noises in the corridor. The staff was brilliant. There was a situation in the restaurant with 2 new employees who forgot us, but it was managed with professionalism by the more experienced staff in an impressive manner (I have reviewed restaurants for websites and newspapers, and I have seldom seen such a high level of service). Because of the bedroom problems, I regretted having paid 520 euros for 2 nights... But the hotel is nice.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the hotel is more beautiful than in the pictures and so cozy, and the place was absolutely wonderful. We loved the food in the restaurant, the chef is excellent.

the cosiness of this place makes it a real please to be. we also appreciated the little present for Xmas. we enjoyed the private sauna as well and the fact that it is absolutely not nosy in the corridor. no slamming doors. great breakfast! last but not least, it is very well situated. thanks to the staff.

Situated a minute's walk from the historic town square, the hotel has a fantastic location. The staff were all extremely helpful, polite and spoke perfect English. The room was spotlessly clean and there great attention to cleaning every day. Breakfast was amazing with many food choices.

Upon arrival the room was quite cold, and it took a while to figure out that heating was not on and had to be switched on by ourselves. Piece of instruction on that in the room would be good. After that no problems.

Lovely cosy boutique hotel, central location on a quiet street in the old town. Friendly reception with welcome prosecco. Nice room with window to the inner courtyard. Good breakfast with optional extras served to the table (omelette, pancakes).

The staff in general were fantastic, but felt that there were a couple of members of staff that were only interested in upselling without us being consulted which left a sour taste.

I was suggested a bottle of wine that we didn't like because didn't match our requirements (we wanted a full body highly structured red wine and they suggested a very light one not appropriate for the food we ordered) and they told us that per their policy they don't change it. It is the first time in a 5 start hotel something like that happen.

Honestly nothing that affected my stay. To be clear, this is a 5 star boutique hotel in an historical building. You are never going to block out the noise of guests in other rooms entirely, however noise was barely noticeable.

An old style 5 star inn with ski lodge vibes and charm. Located in a historical setting the breakfast spread was second to non, and staff all exceptional. Although a fair few rooms, my accommodation experience felt unique to me and the hotel never felt crowded. High quality bathroom products and utensils. Private sauna slots and evening turndown service a nice touch. I wish i'd stayed for longer!

There is nothing that I did not like.

Everything. Schlossle is a true 5-star hotel. Amazing service, incredibly comfortable rooms with everything you may need. Breakfast also with plenty to choose from. The team here is perfect, they help with everything and even helped us to get a table at a always fully booked restaurant in town (thank you Elar!!). The location is superb, everything is within walking distance. There is a turn down service in the evening that is wonderful. The sauna is also very good and clean - a must try while staying here.
