As it's so central, parking can be an issue. It has a car park but it was full when I got there, so had to park on the street , and it's a premium rate area. Wasn't a big problem for me as I arrived quite late and left early so didn't need to pay anyway.

A lovely small hotel, staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. I was on the top floor and it had been a very warm day but the aircon worked perfectly and cooled the room down very quickly. Shower was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was basic but considering the price of the room (in which the breakfast was included), I was satisfied with this. I would stay again,

Location of the house is right at the old city of Tartu, many sights nearby with short walking distance. Despite the central location, arriving to the site by car was very easy. There was a free parking at back of the house in a private yard. The room was even more spacious than we expected and you can really see and feel the history in the building. Staff was very friendly and made sure we received instructions for arrival as we were late from normal check-in hours.

It was too rooms with 4 beds - perfect for a family.the hostess was very friendly and helpful in everything. Breakfast was good. It was very convenient to park the car in the yard and walk around the city. The house was an architectural monument well cared for !

Very good experience, old wooden building, big and clean room, very friendly and welcoming staff. Does not suit for those who prefers luxury, it's for ordinary people who loves simple and comfortable place to stay. Strongly recommended, will definitely come back once.

It was a wonderful experience, a perfect price-performance match! Unlike the large hotels, this small wooden building is very cozy and with its character. The staff was very welcoming, and the breakfast was really nice. Since I was traveling by car, I appreciated the free car parking. Perfect location in the center of the city!

Exceptionally friendly staff. Perfect location, clean rooms, warm (it was minus 20 degrees outside), good breakfast. There is a kitchenette in the hallway, tea and coffee are provided. Nice interior design, with many different artworks. My second time in this place and I would stay here again.

Really nice, small guesthouse with kind staff. Excellent location in Old Town. Small but good breakfast that covered all things needed. Rooms were really nice and special thanks to warm rooms as temperature outside was very low, no draft though old building.

I had some hickup with check-in as reception is only until 18:00 and I arrived about an hour later. I wrote through booking.com chat in advance about my later arrival. Anyway, it all got solved in some time and I got to my room eventually.

I really enjoyed stay in Tampere Maja. Good and helpful staff. Very good breakfasts. Spacious room. Bulding is authentic and wooden and has great atmosphere. It is practically in the city center so you can walk everywhere. It has small sauna for a surcharge for guests.
