Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

EgyptThe renter is a crook they charge you double the amount mentioned on the page for things they have no right to charge you for , the place is rubbish , bad use of your money, I would recommend other places in same location. the community standard was also bad

Egyptthe stores in the village (with the exception of the main resturant) use cash only. that includes the grocery stores (its nice to have grocery stores tho). this problem tho is minor since i had a car and there was a grocery store and other resturants about 5 min north of the village that accepted visa credit cards for payment
the host was super polite and accommodating. she was available 24/7 (which was very nice) willing to work with me when a problem arised. when i arrived, i didnt have any cash on my to pay the security deposit but she was willing to let me in anyways and bring the cash when i could. she was also willing to take suggestions on the properties on a few issues that would not have been noticed if not for my unusually long stay.
