Our family had really good time there. It’s a lovely and peaceful village. We enjoyed making Nubian coffee and listening to music on the rooftop while we stayed. The sands on the rooftop is a plus. My toddler was playing and walking with barefoot on the sands. What an unforgettable experience for our family trip.Btw, they offer very tasty dinner and breakfast!

I booked for one night, ended up staying four nights and could have stayed longer. Rarely have I felt so comfortable and so welcome. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated, the roof top is amazing and the food is delicious. Words don't do this place justice. Thank you Bassam, Islam and everyone I met at the Nubian Kingdom for making me feel at home.

Best house of Egypte so far! The house is beautiful and confortable. The hosts are exceptional : generous, accomodating, of good advice, they make you feel welcome and share there culture with you. The host even make us a tour of his village ; it was actually the best moment of our stay in Aswan. Also, the food is delicious. I still think about the breakfast and dinner they made for us. I recommend it!!!! The longer your stay, the best it is!

So glad we found this place! Basheem and the whole family are lovely and so welcoming - you quickly feel part of the family yourself. Such an oasis of peace to come back to and chat about Nubian culture and listen to their friends jamming Nubian music after supper. You can get a very good paid meal each night which was always excellent. Rooms are quite basic but clean and airy and probably the most comfortable we stayed in on our trip. The guest house is only 2 minutes from the local ferry to the East bank and the same to the Tombs of the Nobles where you can watch sunset from the top of the hills.

My visit was end of January, so it was a little on the colder side, next time I would bring some warmer gear. I got woken up in the middle of the night but I think that was from phones of other guests.

Super clean, nice, and hospitable. It's more of a guesthouse so if you are looking for a more local experience, this is your spot. Location-wise, it's not in the hustle and bustle of the main town, however, it's only a short inexpensive boat ride across the Nile, which to me makes it a fun feature. Full on breakfast to start your day, and a super delicious dinner I ordered on one of my nights. The host and his family are super welcoming and helpful, always in tune with their guests.

Forgot to bring my own toiletries :-(

Bassam's terrace is my favorite place to chill out in entire Egypt! I felt immediately at home when I first arrived, and despite the great museums and attractions nearby, I spent most of my free time on the terrace enjoying the sun, Nubian music, and just chatting to Bassam. The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

If you're looking for a relaxing time away from the noise of the big cities and seeing the quieter side of Egypt, this is place to go. Bassam was very welcoming from the time I got there, and made me feel very at home. My travel plans had just been significantly disrupted and this was my first stop on the new plan, and it definitely was a great choice. They cooked me amazing food, made sure I had everything I needed, and even took us out on a boat trip up the river. Thank you so much for hospitality, you made my time in Egypt very memorable!

I guess it would be useful to write some instructions on how to reach the place. The boat which goes between the two sides if the river is something good to know about

The staff is amazing and friendly. Bassam, Emad and all of them. Very hospitable and helpful. Bassam even helped me talking to a taxi driver to get me to Phiyala temple.

The divers doesn’t want to take you to the other side of the river, so you have to take a water taxi which cost you 5 pounds, which is not bad.

The Nubian Kingdom Aragheed Hotel was awesome! Bassam and his family were super friendly, and the food was amazing. It felt like a cozy family. Highly recommend! 😄👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🍽️ Bassam even helped us plan our tour. The whole experience was fantastic and enjoyable.
