believe me, the building is horrendous and dirty. the room was dirty, there was only an outside bathroom and our room was next to the reception, so at night the light entered the room. the breakfast is very basic. The staff are attentive, but I don't recommend it. For a similar price you can get much better accommodation.

An old structure that appears to be on its last legs. There was cat faeces on the stairs. The shower was clogged. The personnel are friendly. bead was clean. exelent location

Berlin Hotel is such a gem! What a nice place, with an exceptional staff and an absolutely lovely, caring and amazing owner. They made sure that my stay is as perfect as it can get! They have taxi service from the airport at an absolutely reasonable price, also they are offering a driver who takes you to Giza, Memphis, Saqqara and other important sights nereby Cairo - again - at a fair price. The rooms are lovely with a unique, but equally great atmosphere. The location of Berlin Hotel is also pitch perfect! I highly recommend it! Oh, and the rooms are coming with breakfast! So, all in all, a perfect stay in a wonderful city!

The hotel was very old/run down and felt unclean. The stairwell leading up to the hotel had rubbish everywhere.

Some people may find the lift uncomfortable due to it missing doors but they are currently renovating so that won’t be an issue.

Fantastic location could easily grab a taxi across the road, close to all monuments in Cairo. AC was good and kept the room cold enough during 40+ degrees to keep us sleeping easily.

Excellent location in the heart of Cairo - surrounded by 17th century buildings and very central to everything you could need while visiting the city. Just off a busy main street so very easy to book Ubers too. Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating, with airport pickup and complimentary tea and coffee on arrival. Air con was great and very much needed for the 40°C days. Hotel is in the process of upgrades to rooms.
