Having a freshly cooked Egyptian breakfast in the morning was amazing. We also shared a lovely meal of fresh fish for dinner and had some great conversation. It was really cool to walk to the market with a local and pick his brain about the goings on in the day to day life of the locals. Thank you again my friend! Hopefully I will see you again some day!

Bob Marley homestay was one of my best place i stayed in Egypt. Adam is great host , he cooks local foods was amazing, his hospitality and personality was perfect. Place is very close to public beach and restaurant, shopping mall etc. Adam also can help about you nice activities in Hurghada during your stay ,ask him about more info diving , desert tour. Nice to see him.Hopefully i will be back to stay here again.

Adam was the best host ever! We appreciate him as a good friend now. Since we arrived he helped us a lot to get to know what we needed for our staying in Hurghada and made us feel like home there. Breakfast was always very good, we had a very nice and clean room, we shared the bathroom which was okay for us, the location was also good, not far from a nice beach. Adam can also cook very well and cooked for us sth very delicious. If we come back to Hurghada we are definetely staying at the Bob Marley Homestay again!

Adams place was a tad tricky to find but worth it. Clean and tidy, in a block occupied by locals, the room was simple and well sized. I’d come to Egypt again to snorkel and was on my own, so I decided to try a different type of accommodation to my usual mid range hotels. I thought it would be interesting and I will certainly was.  Guess I was looking for a homestay time experience before I ventured out on my own and that’s what I got. Adam is a very pleasant smart guy and is super cooperative in assisting. His English is very good too. I also found him to be very trustworthy and good company.  I hired a car and parked outside with no problems. I would’ve happily stayed there again on my return to Hurghada but I had such fantastic Snorkeling further down the coast at Lahami Bay Beach Resort (amazing house reefs!) I did not want to cut it short by a day.

Bob marley is a simple house but all furniture are new The rooms are big.there are no keys for the rooms doors but totally safe It's just 3 minutes walk to the beach Adam the owner is owner is super host who will arrange you scuba diving ;quad safari at the desert and cooking delicious food for good prices I would like to assure that activities via Adam are much cheaper than online prices The massage was for 10 us dollars and was amazing As a single girl I enjoyed staying there and felt truly safe

Guests may wish to know that the facilities in the home stay are basic, but the host more than makes up for it through amazing food and overall supportive service.

One of my most memorable and amazing home stay experiences. The host accompanied me to the nearby market, as well as further into the central area including the fish market. He is very knowledgable and it was a delight to converse with him on multiple topics, including about Egypt. The host made amazing and wholesome breakfasts and dinner. He also arranged a snorkelling excursion for me which was better priced than what I found on the net - the snorkelling experience was great. And while the overall facilities in the house are basic, the overall experience was amazing.

Bob Marley homestay is the place you want to book if you want an authentic alternative to the resort option. It’s cheap but that doesn’t mean you cannot find an excellent service: breakfast is healthy and cooked at the moment (unless you are leaving the house at crazy hours in the morning -like for the Luxor tour- but Adam will anyway provide you the best falafel sandwich to take with you), the house is clean and sheets/towels are changed even during your stay, bed and pillows are comfortable. Also and mostly, Adam is a super nice host who will help you in any way possible like arranging trips/dives at the best price, taking/suggesting you restaurants, cooking amazing egyptian food and so on. You really can ask him anything and he will try to do his best to help you out. He’s also a very interesting person to share the time with.

A little bit difficult to find the building. Adam was in touch with me before on WhatsApp though to make sure I found it okay.

The real treasure here is the host: Adam. He is a tremendous host, cooking a delicious dinner, and sharing his experiences of the area and saying how to get the best value. This place is tremendous value, and I have already booked to stay again when I come back. I only had a limited time in Hurghada waiting for pickup from my liveaboard diving boat, and he helped me make the best of it.
