The lift is a vintage one however challenge is if someone doesn’t properly close in other floors, you might have to climb up the stairs .. ground floor could have been a little cleaner

Two things to mention. The gravest was the lack of Wifi - it was there but we could barely connect to it the whole stay there. The shower was a bit messy and leaky all over the place - hard to take a shower without water going all over.

The staff was very helpful kind and nice. Top grade to them. The location was also great amd beds were nice.

I don't have anything I didn't like honestly. If you're not use to water heaters, just make sure you turn your water heater on to warm up before you need to shower, and unplug when you're gone all day. I didn't use the air conditioning because I didn't need to. So again no complaints.

It was my first time using a hostel and I am SO GLAD I chose the perfect one. Great location, walkable to everything in Cairo and the room itself was large, bathroom great, very cool and if I was there for breakfast they had a great spread. I didn't have to use the air conditioning so I don't know about it. And the wifi was great it did it's job. The staff were super helpful with any questions and when I would leave super early they would walk out and make sure my ride was there. There was a step down in the bedroom to the bathroom, I always had to make sure I didn't miss the step lol. room was clean, place was always clean and again great location. So many hotels had mixed reviews but the hostel had consistent so glad I chose this over a hotel and I never thought I would say that as a person who has only gone to hotels. It gave the perfect mix of feeling like you were in midst of everything living there and privacy like a hotel.

Only breakfast could be improved, in terms of quality of the bread for example. Although is has very good fruits. Tank you for that!

The atmosphere of the guesthosue is very cosy and staff is very polite and welcoming. We were a group and tok all the place and it was nice to have it all for us. we felt like home. Location is alsogod if you want to stay downtown.

The two youthful employees at the reception desk were exceedingly friendly and chatty, offering plentiful travel advice and insights into Egypt's current environment. The hotel elevator is very interesting.

Not much really! It was great to stay there.

We stayed for one night as a family and were so impressed. The location is great: only 5 minutes walk from Tahrir Square, and with many lovely eateries (and lovely bakeries!) around the corner. Staff was as kind and helpful as one can dream of. We were leaving in the late evening and they were happy not only to keep our luggage but also to let us stay in the common area until it was time to leave.

Breakfast only adequate. We had the room closest to reception and breakfast and it was a bit noisy in the mornings. So keep that in mind. However, the windows went to an internal court yard only meaning it was - very atypical for Cairo - absolutely quiet, even with the windows open!

Excellent location in the heart of Cairo, very practical to get to all points of the compass, even by Metro if necessary. The room was spotlessly clean and practical in size. Staff seemed friendly, approachable and helpful. We paid about 52USD/night for the twin with external private bathroom, which I thought was good value for a spotless room in the center of one of the world's biggest cities. We wish them all the best for their upcoming extension in the old part of the building and wouldn't hesitate to come back anytime.

The hot water ran out too quickly! Not enough for 2 people to shower right after another.

Superb location for the price, right in the centre of downtown Cairo. The staff were very friendly and helpful every step of the way. Breakfast was freshly made for you everyday by the staff and you could refill your water bottles for free as well. It was fairly quiet at night since we were on the top floor (7th) and we had no issues despite being in downtown Cairo where the honking from cars is just continuous.

The location of the hotel is very good, right at Tahrir Square. The staff was very friendly, I was on a 6am flight the next morning and he called an uber for me. the hotel was clean, just the room was a little small.

The doors are noisy. People don't respect each other late at night and early in the morning (of course it is not the hostel's fault). An earplug can be useful before midnight and after 6 am. There is a 5% extra if you pay by card.

Kind staff, excellent location, modern and clean place to stay. You can reach the 7th floor only on steps from the 6th floor, but it isn't a big issue, it gives some extra isolation feeling. We stayed 1 night only, but I can imagine a longer stay too.
