The room I had on my way on, located at the upper floor (305), was not particularly comfortable. It was not renewed, the restroom was old and the water from the shower came out with some difficulty.

I like the room I had on my way back (n. 205). It was recently renewed, the bed was particularly comfortable. I appreciated the outlet to recharge devices with international sockets. However, a bad smell often comes out from the water system in the restroom.

Great 2 star hotel. Nothing negative to point out. The personal is available at all time and very nice, the room is very correct, clean and quiet. Located in the “rich” area, it guarantees a reassuring stay, with many restaurants and shops around. I can only recommand it for a visit of Cairo

There was practically no wifi (except the reception maybe). We had a problem with the hot water but the staff changed our room immediately.

Stayed for two nonconcequtive days. The hotel is located in Zamalek, which is quite a plus since it is maybe the only relatively quite place in Cairo. It has all the basics, nothing fancy but it works well. Staff is helpful and professional. Overall we had a positive experience despite some minor problems.

The hotel is quite old-fashioned. We didn't mind a lot as we didn't spend much time there other than to sleep and it ticked other more important boxes (comfort, room size, cleanliness, staff).

The location of the hotel is excellent, in the middle of Zamalek, next to metro (3 mins on foot), lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel is located in a typical '60s building and offers very quiet rooms despite it being in a busy street. We loved the big room, the very comfortable bed and excellent mattress. It is very clean and the staff very helpful and polite. Overall, a very decent choice when you visit Cairo.

Some important items which makes the stay comfortable are not available in the room like the microwave, tissues papers . The shower needs to be fixed and should switch easily between shower and bathtub. One of the major things which I did not like is their restrictions in allowing residents of meeting their guests in their room or in the hall near the room although they can insist on asking guests to show their passports and even register them . Their gender policy and preventing the different gender of visiting you in your room or area near your room even if they are your relatives is very primitive and at the end when I met only once my relatives in the hotel it was very uncomfortable , and at the end , we moved to a cafe in Zamalek

Horus is in a good location in Zamalek. The hotel is very clean but needs improvement in introducing some items since the hotel is pricey

Horus House is in a great location in Zamalek, and we did a lot of exploring the surrounding streets and sites. It’s clean, quiet, and the staff were really lovely. We had a beautiful view of a tree filled courtyard.
