Not directly related to the house but be aware that mosquitoes are everywhere in this area. We were provided with repellent for the room so it was fine but you may want to avoid staying at the (lovely) terrasse around and after sunset (or bring your own repellent).

Very nice and welcoming host and staff. Helped us organize our activities around Aswan. The place is lovely and the food was amazing. Breakfast is VERY generous.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a cold hibiscus drink and were told the following: "You are not guests here, you are family". And that would be the main thing about this place. We only stayed there for two days which were full of activities. We would leave very early and come back late. They would serve us food at any time and give us bag with breakfast for the morning. Amazing authentic experience. Views are great. Felt very comfortable

The stay was short but sweet. The location is fantastic, the room was super clean and spacious with an amazing balcony view. The staff was welcoming and generous, at check out when they learnt we will miss breakfast due to an early flight, they prepared a breakfast box for is the night before, which was a super kind gesture. Highly recommend, and hope to be back soon.

Wonderful place. perfect location, at the riverside. Clean and comfortable. You can enjoy a tea or dinner in the boat above the nile. The staff is the best. Always ready to help, always with a smile on their face, they make your stay easy and unforgettable. Our room was upgraded at no extra cost.

Information about housekeeping could have been explained at the time of arrival. I would have liked to have seen women working at the establishment. A woman's touch can make a difference in the ambiance of any establishment. Literature could have been placed in the room to read about the hotel's tours. This would have been helpful to gain a complete understanding of how the tours are carried out in terms of the extra costs for tour guides, etc.

Kendaka Nubian House is all that we were hoping for. My wife and I wanted a comfortable and scenic place to relax and to have a base for some day trips. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a great view of the river from the balcony. It's near the heart of the Nubian Village so restaurants (in addition to the great in-house food), shops, and transportation were very convenient. The staff was very attentive and helpful whenever we had any questions or needs.

The village is quite far from downtown Aswan, so planning trips back and forth can be costly and time consuming

Staying in a Nubian village has its charms and the friendly vibe and hospitality are unmatched. If you opt for the half board, they cook you authentic Nubian food for breakfast and dinner included in your room price, which was amazing! They also offered to arrange tours or activities to fit your trip, but they never pressured.

Everything was super nice. The only thing that could be improved is the shower (although the current one perfectly serves its purpose).

The building decoration was superb, and the incredible view and the staff were awesome. We got very nicely welcomed by the staff late in the evening, and they kindly waited for us and served a welcome drink. The rooms were super spacious, with a good view and string AC. The breakfast was adequate and in an awesome place. Overall this is THE place to go!

beautifully designed Nubian house and I loved it had a boat attached where you could eat breaks at and dinner. All the staff was very attentive and friendly and the property was close to a market and a beach. you could also get a boat ride on the water across to another island

Our stay at this charming hotel was just amazing! The hotel is beautiful (day and night). Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The food was delicious and plentiful and you can eat on a terrace on the shore of the Nile or even on a boat. The staff members are very kind and helpful. They can arrange excursions at reasonable prices with pickup from the hotel.

Our stay was beyond exceptional, the suite has a gorgeous balcony with a panoramic view of the nile and the room itself is spacious, clean and comfortable with all the needed facilities. The team are extremely hospitable and friendly and they went beyond measures to make sure our stay was great and comfortable, they also helped us a lot with the tours and were super generous. The food is delicious and very well made both at breakfast and lunch.

I love the vibrant colors of the hotel and their food is also amazing. Everyone there is very helpful to us specially with the luggage and other things we need. they also arrange our trip to abu simbel and trip to Philae temple and even help us with our trip to luxor. I also love the nile river view and how peaceful it is to stay there. away from the crowd and noise from the city. Special thanks to Mr. Qasem for taking care of us in our entire 2 days stay aswan. And also, I'm in love with their floating restaurant.

Get the rooms at the top rather than the bottom as some critters might pay a visit. It was a bit overpriced compared to other places we stayed in Egypt.

The guesthouse is bright and colourful right on the Nile river. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, especially the cheesy omelette and the grilled chicken.
