I really liked this quiet, simple but comfortable and very friendly place. It's very small scale, only 3 rooms. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, and have their own bathroom. At the front there are benches where you can have (an excellent!) breakfast. I especially liked the calm atmosphere, the big courtyard where the very friendly owner is working a bit in the garden. The hospitality of the whole family was heartwarming. I will certainly return to this place if I visit Tunis again!

Cozy family home, nice hosting family, only with some missing things in the triple room. They were open to my suggestions and promised to address them for my upcoming stay. Overall, Tunis village is a secluded village and I liked it a lot.

Forgot our keys in the room’s door but Hany helped to unlock it.. No wardrobe but it was ok for short stay.. there are wire hangers Location is ok near the cafés and shops, no lake view though..

We had a wonderful vaction in this hidden gem in Tunisia village.. khazafista .. the place that took us back to nature.. the rooms are very clean and tidy .. the atmosphere is very good and the home made breakfast was delicious.. We enjoyed every single moment of our vaction and above all the hospitality, generosity and kindness of the people their we felt that we are one big family .. what ever u ask for they will get it for u .. Don’t miss the Safari with the talented driver Islam.. and if you want to buy pottery don’t go outside.. Gehad shop is there.. she will make good offers and will teach your kids their first pottery lessons in her workshop.. No soap in the shower. Not a big deal but i would have liked to be alerted in advance

It is a quiet house. Very familiar and welcomy. There are only three guest rooms so not much movement of people. They have a pottery workshop in the garden and a shop with their creations. I did a small pottery class in the workshop. The artists don't speak English but you get to communicate 😊 Plenty of children from family around, which is nice if you are traveling with kids. My daughter played a lot with them. Breakfast is not included but it is cheap and I strongly recommend it. It is a good egiptian breakfast. Location is good. Near to the main road and ATMs. Gihed and Hany (the live out kids) speak good english and they manage the family communication. They are nice, helpful and cheerful. Please be aware that this is not a luxury hotel. Is a humble home that give all the welcome oasis egiptians are famous for.

I went with my family, first of all The location is amazing just two minutes away from all the attractions points in Tunis village, the rooms are great value against price ,clean and wide, the staff are super nice you will live the experience of being hosted by one big nice family they will help you in anything you would need during the trip ….. i recommend this stay for families and also groups …..

We came for a relaxing and authentic discovery and we all loved our stay! The atmosphere, the people... all was simple and so charming! It is in a quiet area and the family running the place can help you to get any you need/want. They were kind and helpful. We slept so good there and the food was delicious! True nutriments and taste! The tour they propose is really nice too! It does not feel like a tourist touring, but really like a discovery of the local treasures.

Great hospitality and location. It's quiet and feels nice to stay with this lovely family while having all your privacy at the same time. Beautiful energy. Trips were perfectly organised and you can ask anything anytime. The pottery is amazing. We enjoyed a safari to wadi el Hitan and the Magic lake. We would stay here again. The rooms are looking even more cosy in real than from the pictures!

Great and clean room like expected, nice breakfast and very helpful staff. They helped a lot and organised a tour with a jeep to Wadi al Hitan and Wadi al Rayyan. There is also very nice pottery course to try. Everything could be easily done in one day.

We liked the family that worked there. Super friendly, helpful and accommodating. They also have a cool store there that sells all there hand made pottery & artwork. Excellent value for money, and for sure will stay there again.

It was very simple but sweet.

We loved our time there. It felt like staying with family! Hisham organized a great trip into the desert to go sand boarding and to visit the ancient whale skeletons. And we did pottery classes in the yard with his family members. It was a very sweet, welcoming and memorable experience.

Friendly, honest staff who organised our transfers from and back to Cairo as well as a trip to Whale Valley/Wadi el Haitan. Accommodation is modest but as described and has all that was needed for our 2-night stay. Transitional breakfast is available at Khazfista and there are numerous restaurants in walking distance. We would happily stay at Khazfista again

The accommodation is basic but excellent value, wonderful location if you want to be close to the lake and local crafts shops and restaurants. Even though we did not meet our host as we came in quite late and left before sunrise, he was very attentive and helpful over the phone and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room even provided anti mosquito spray. Lovely homestay!
