The owner, his wife, kids and the cook are nothing short of amazing. They really went above and beyond. The property was spotless, the food was incredible and the overall hospitality was simply the best in Egypt! When I said I’d be back, the owner replied with “you are always welcome, this is your home”. And they really do treat you like family.♥️

no wifi in the room - you have to stay on the roof top to browse, which was freezing during this time of the year. Highly recommend to install a router downstairs. When I showered, the water flooded the floor, and swept from the bathroom to the room. However, as noted above, they are currently renovating to fix this :) Marsa Alam is not a nice city - but if you come here only for diving, this is the place to stay.

LOVED the staff. so incredibly kind and thoughtful, throwing a birthday dinner for me. Lovely guesthouse with good sized rooms, very comfy beds and amazing breakfast. Owner was always there to help to plan tours and get around. They are continuing to invest into the building, with a lot of great ideas (BBQ area, sun deck, organic vegetable garden). Wishing them all the best for the future !

The property needs a sign as it is hard to find.

The rooms are just lovely. The rooftop area was great with 360 degrees view. Meshial and his team were best host for us in Egypt. He went up and above making sure that we take safe roads on our way to Luxor. He provided us with important information. We will definitely come back.

Very good value for the money.Friendly staff, inviting common area on the roof where you can have a good breakfast while watching sunrise over the Red and mingle with other guests. Owner ( Meshel) was very helpful with local recommendations and in arranging transportation.

Everything. Big and clean rooms, perfect AC, covered terrace for socialize and food wifi, excellent breakfast different each day. Mishu, the manager, gives many suggestions and support for visits, transfer, beaches, snorkeling. Our choice in Marsa Alam for sure, we will came back again.

Location is nice. Tucked away from the City but easy walking distance. The breakfast on the rooftop is amazing. The view is spectacular as well, but what really makes this hotel special is the hospitality. Mechail and staff are most hepful and assist with everything from local transportation, organizing dive pickups, bus tickets, rides in to the City, you name it. They really go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Back at my favorite budget spot in Marsa Alam, and it's still a winner! Rooftop vibes for days, breakfast to fuel your adventures, and rooms so clean they sparkle. Shoutout to the owner – always got your back, helps with phone glitches, sorts taxis, and hooks you up with trips. The fish joint down the road totally worth it! If you're hitting up Marsa Alam, this spot is the real deal for a chill, budget-friendly stay. Can't wait for round three!

Just stayed at this cool budget hotel in Marsa Alam. Rooftop vibes are perfect for mingling with other travelers. Breakfast? So much yum! Rooms are spotless, and the owner rocks – always there to help out, set up my phone, and sort taxis and trips at competitive prices. Oh, and the best fish restaurant? A short stroll away. Made my stay a blast! If you're on a budget but want a rad time in Marsa Alam, this spot is the way to go

There were a lot of mosquitos (probably partially to do with the lack of power) but this is just the town and not specific to La Casa

Nice, comfortable and cheap guesthouse but the best thing by far was the staff who went above and beyond. There was a statewide blackout for 24 hours during our stay and the owner came down from Cairo to make sure everyone was comfortable, including bringing water and cold drinks from hotels generators and taking us all out for dinner. Incredible hospitality!

La Casa has all the amenities that you would care about like aircon, clean spacious rooms, plus a rooftop lounge where you can have breakfast or a sunset tea with an ocean view, but what really makes the difference is the staff and the owner Mesho. While I was there a power cut affected 400km of the Egyptian coast including Marsa Alam. Mesho came from Cairo and went way beyond what was needed to ensure this would affect us the least. In the end it is really the helpfluness and friendlyness of the people that make us want to come back.

Internet works very well on the rooftop but no so much from the rooms which was fine with us

Exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and we are fond of this place. The hotel is quiet and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious and squeaky clean. Most of all the owners are absolutely awesome. Fady, Karim and Mishu went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable and we can not overstate their kindness and generosity.

The tap water was not the best as it had a different colour, although there was a problem with water supply during two days, right before we arrive which might explain the irregularity. Despite that everything was perfect!

We stayed two nights in la casa guest house and as a group of 10 people it couldn’t have been better. Michele was really kind and provided us with lots of good recommendations, good moments and was an excellent company. The breakfast was delicious and the host tried to satisfy all our likes with flavoury dishes. He also helped us booking a snorkelling/diving experience in the Red Sea.

My stay at La Casa Guest House was exceptional. It's a peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. The room was comfortable and equipped with a fridge and air cool system. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. The hosts are friendly and always willing to offer recommendations on places to visit. A wonderful experience!
